Came home to apologize to 4runner

Went on a seven day 2500 mile road trip to Montana and couldn't take my 4runner because sister in-law and brother in-law decided they wanted to tag along, just wasn't enough room for four people and gear, had to take the Tundra. Came home and apologized to my 4runner and gave her a bath before the dirty Tundra. We are all good now.

Thanks Greg! I just noticed you're from Utah. On a different subject, my 2500 hundred road trip took me through Utah, stopped in a gun store, you guys are so lucky, you can buy anything you want. Here in California, every gun is modified. I could have bought a few accessories but a felony to bring across state lines. Sad state im living in.

 

Is that 3rd Gen yours too? Looks like a Highlander edition.

 

Yes sir, it is. It's a 2000 SR5 with 192,XXX miles can't bring myself to sell it. Here's a picture of the siblings in the driveway. Black sequoia belongs to my son.

Curious about what type of lift and your tire size too!

 

Bumper was made by C4 Fabrication but bought out by Stellar built in Sacramento CA. When C4 Fabrication first made them, they cut TRD PRO at the bottom, apparently toyota put a stop to that real quick. They couldn't sell them that way. I believe they still make them but without the TRD pro under. I got lucky and was able to buy one with.

Dobinsons lift kit with BF Goodrich all terrains T/A 1" trim front & back so it doesn't rub.

 

My father gave me his 87 white first gen 4runner when I graduated highschool, drove it every where, sold it after I bought the 3rd Gen and regret it ever since.

Yep, for the money I saved from buying a pro, I spent it on accessories and doing it my way. With a lot of help from this forum.

Tell us about 4Runner Venture. What does it come with? X-Reas, 4WD??

 

The venture pretty much has everything a pro has except for the suspension, which i replaced with Dobinsons lift, has the KDSS and no emblems. 4WD. Came with a Yakima roof rack, personally I didn't like the look of the pro rack or the Yakima, it looks like it belongs on a Subaru. Replaced it with gobi rack.
Waiting on full aluminum skid plate and folding mirror motors. Yep, I have a sickness on mods all because of this forum.
