So, I decided to wrap the center of the hood for 2 reasons.

    I think it looks cool
    Cut down on sun reflection

Instead of going with a one piece that looks common, I tried two piece to give it a little bit of uniqueness.

What do you think? Can't decide if I will keep it on or not.

    Thanks.

    I like it.

I've been wanting to do mine, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. That glare can be really intense sometime!

Did you make that 2 pieces by using knifeless tape after laying down the big piece?

Yes. The 3m tape. It's a pain to initially cut through the wrap but it works well.

Did the top half first then the bottom.

Nice, I've heard that the hood scoop can reflect sunlight in the drivers eyes, so if you eliminated that problem than its a win win.

Yep, bought a few "pre-made" kits and they are very nice but you have to lay them with some set of skill I do not have, even after practicing.

A roll of material, knifeless tape, some masking tape (blue stuff for painting), and some alcohol ended up being an easier option and I got a customized look.

Did it reduce glare? Yes, quite a lot in fact.

I never had any luck with the knifeless tape, but looks like you nailed it. If it was me and mine, i would have pulled the "intake" shroud and tucked the wrap under.

If I get around to doing mine, I was thinking I would go that route.

I took mine to a professional tint/vinyl shop and had light gray vinyl wrap installed on my silver ORP. They removed the shroud to tuck the edge underneath. It looks and works great.

I don't like it but you did a damn good job cutting it and putting it on yourself.
