4Runner Emblem on front winch bumper

Hi all,
Just thought I'd share this cheap mod on my front winch bumper for those of you that has the same bumper. I'm not much into light bars so I got one without holes, bugged me that nothing was there and was rather plain looking so got a set of 4runner black out covers and filled them with two part epoxy let it dry then used 2 way tape. I love it.

Nicely done. Who makes the bumper? Have you had any problem with TSS?

 

looks like a SSO slimline bumper, I like it

 

Unless they've changed them recently, the SSO Slimline does not have those gussets on the hoop. There are quite a few makers that have copied the design so I was wondering who makes this one.

 

Bumper was made by C4 Fabrication but bought out by Stellar built in Sacramento CA. When C4 Fabrication first made them, they cut TRD PRO at the bottom, apparently toyota put a stop to that real quick. They couldn't sell them that way. I believe they still make them but without the TRD pro under. I g ot lucky and got one. Thinking about lighting that up so the TRD pro lights up at night. Another cheap mod. Haha. So far so good on the TSS. The bottom of the upper bar is level with the sensor.

 

looks like you are correct, just looked at the SSO, and while similar, definitely not the same.

 

I wonder if they can make one that says TRD Amateur instead. I wouldn't want to oversell my capabilities as a driver.

 

I don't care for it - but as long as you like it, that's all that counts.
