Well… the addiction is real. I bought my first 4RUNNER trd off road this May. I’ve never owned or driven one before that. I fell in love with it so much, I decided to buy a gen 4 V8….
These are pretty amazing machines and I can’t believe it took me this long to get in one. Pretty excited about both projects. My 2018 4Runner is obviously very nice and comfortable but there’s something about my 2004 4Runner that makes me like it a little bit more! Anyone else experience this?!

Welcome from SoCal. I know what you mean re 4th gen. I have had a 2003 V8 4th gen since new (168k miles currently) and every time I drive it reminds me what a great engine the V8 is. Also, I feel the 4th gen has better interior quality vs 5th gen.

The v8 is an amazing engine and the full time AWD really makes me gravitate towards the 4th gen.
