Yep. The Lunar Rock Pro will still look pretty badass. I suspect it will hold its value as well, since it seems to be in such high demand.

 

I'll bet any color of Pro will hold its value.

 

Well also depends on how that 40% reduction in production pans out. Might be hard to even get a vehicle and probably even harder to get a lunar rock or army green.

 

Pros always do. Hell every 4runner and Toyota dies. I imagine the limited year pro color might be a tad higher.

 

I keep my cars on average, at least 20 years, so resale is not a factor in my equations. Yet another reason I just bought a base SR5 and put nice wheels and tires on.

If I'm still alive and well in 15-20 years than I will probably have the spacer lift removed and go back to 265's so the wife and I can get in the truck without as much effort.

 

Agreed! It took me a long time to change from a Tacoma to a 4Runner, then to decide between a TRD ORP or a Pro. I never once considered the resale value in the decision. Buy what you want because you want it! The Pro having a great resale value is a added bonus, but not a reason enough to purchase a Pro. All Toyotas have a great resale value! Is it disheartening that there will be a Lunar Rock offered in the in TRD OR in 2022? No - not for me, because I like what I have and plan to have it for 15 years! It will not matter 15 years from now!

 

I do think the small details on the Pro make it more visually appealing than the other trims. In my opinion it looks more rugged and refined.

 

Up close, yes, but from a couple hundred yards, we all look the same.

 

The pro just looks the more professional starting point. Don’t forget, the dual climate, Fox shocks, even the JBL which I hear had things is still a talking point for stock options. Luggage rack above which I’d only replace with. sequoia style pro rack, color, and individuals of the trim just makes people like us feel happy. I already have my heftyfab rock sliders ready, tint, some decals. I look forward to individualize min3 from the other rare guys and from videos looking, our cars are fantastic to do on your own and really have some pride in what you choose to do.
