New to the group

My husband and I went to Toyota Carlsbad to get a Tundra, he happened to get one the next week that was not claimed.

Went back the next week to look for a 4Runner, they happened to have one unspoken one allocated to them, we claimed it. Couldn't make any changes because it was already completed at port.

Now just waiting for it to arrive, no updates on the arrival date to the dealership, but from Long Beach I hope it isn't too long of a wait!

Waiting on a Nightshade 4WD. Should be mine by end of month. My first 4Runner! Coming from a VW GTI (which I love), this will be a big change

 

Mine hit the website this morning! It doesn’t say in transit though, so I hope it’s either already there or will be on its way soon, I’m not quite sure how it works. I don’t want to nag our dealer about it. So happy, hope I get it soon!

I know why the dealership is holding on to it so long: So they can be certain they the New Car Smell at just the right intensity! Absolutely vital step of getting in a new car for a customer. Detail it, wash it, give it a test drive, New Car Smell application.

Don't forget, while I've never in my life bought a new car, let alone one from a dealer, but I've heard they don't put a whole lot of fuel in them. Check that before you just take off with it. I could well be wrong about that, though.
Try to find non-ethanol type fuel if you can. These engines don't seem to play well with ethanol. Maybe the newer ones have overcome that little detail, though.

Ha! this is my first new car that I've bought myself,. I normally would go used but prices are so crazy getting new was probably a better deal for what I wanted.

According to my Toyota app... full tank and 403 miles to empty. Thanks for the ethanol tip... will keep an eye out.

now on to the mods

 

Mine should be at the dealership between the 25th and the 30th.

Our Tundra was given to us with a full gas tank, so I hope the 4runner is too!
