2022 4Runner build site is up at Toyota!

Agree, my plan is to plastic dip the silver front, and maybe look at new bumper to replace it but that will be down the road.

 

That won't be the front end of the OR.

They just have the pictures mixed up with the TRD Sport.

From a quick glance, it looks like BSM/RCTA is exclusive to the TRD Sport which I know does not make sense. Guessing it is part of the “Plus” packages for the OR/SR5. That said, only thing mentioned is these packages offering camera modes.

 

The Premium Plus Package only adds the new monitoring system that the Pro has to the lower grades.

BSM/RCTA is standard on all trim levels.

 

Read the brochure as it is optional as part of the Technology Package specific to the TRD Sport.

 

However as you have one on order, perhaps this brochure is not a final revision as otherwise the only thing I could think of is it being chip shortage related.

 

The build details on the TRD Off-Road Premium show it on page 5 so I guess I don't know then.

It looks to me like it's an option on the Sport while the basic SR5 doesn't have it.

Anything SR5 Premium and above come with it standard.

 

Makes way more sense that you would have it. Congrats on the order and KDSS rules.

 

Until I actually receive the vehicle it's still kind of a guess but that's what the dealer told me. He said that the ORP has it and the Premium Plus Package just adds the camera system of the Pro.

I also wound up locating a Nori Green GX 460 so I'm probably going to be cancelling the 4Runner as soon as I get confirmation on an arrival window for the GX. I still don't believe I will actually get it but I was told it's mine for MSRP and I put down a deposit yesterday.

 

That’s strange in the sense I was just in the garage looking at my Venture thinking that I really miss the greenhouse of the GX. When I traded in my ‘21 GX, the first impressions of going from it to a T4R was that it comparatively felt like a turret. That and lord am I going to miss the steering wheel.
Sweet to have a backup option and sweeter still the ‘22 upgrades.

 

Yeah I'm looking forward to it except the paying for it part LOL.

 

i have notice that the color options also have changed as the models change some color are not available in certain models and that frontend for ORP sucks

 

My region doesn't even show a pro as a trim level

The ORP image is still broken though with the Sport grille and the tire clipping through the front end LOL.

ETA: I took a screenshot and also mentioned that the Premium Plus Package is missing from the Premium models in an email I just sent. They won't care but I tried.

 

Plot twist the OR and ORP actually come with the sport front end for 2022 lol damn Toyota fooled us

 

You have to use your link, because it’s not yet at Toyota.com under build part. What if it really isn’t a mistake, but the ORP comes like that?
