    Lime rush, cool.

If they came out with the right orange, I'd be tempted.

Those off colors look nice new, but I try to consider what they will look like when faded in 5 years.

I kinda liked the inferno orange but I'll bet it would fade and not look so inferno.

My 97 red Tacoma was beautiful when new, but started fading out after only a few years.

Maybe but I saw an Inferno just earlier this week and it still looks as good as new.

The only year it was offered was 2015 so most are 6-7 years old now.

    Nice post.
You can configure Off-Road, Trail, and Sport in Lunar Rock and Army Green.

Cool! A chromed out Limited in Army Green would be....different...so I can see why they didn't do that.

Someone posted a video a few days ago of all the color break downs for each model for 2022. I'll see if I can find. Lunar Rock is one of the 2022 colors but only for two models if I recall correctly.

Lime Rush was the only true weird color out of the bunch which I believe is similar/close to a color they used on a concept SUV a couple years ago. Rest were business as usual. White, Silver, Red, Black, etc.

Lime Rush was a production color found on the Prius C.
Inferno was the only pro color not used in previous models.

Certainly wouldn't have any trouble locating your car in the parking lot.

I think they may have recycled a name then as the color code of that color isn't the same 5C3 of the 4Runner?

you show your vehicle as being a 2022 “on order.” Did your dealer let you put a deposit down to place an order already?

They won't take a deposit until Toyota assigns a VIN. They've been allocated 2 Limiteds so far but my build hasn't been selected yet. It's in their order bank waiting to be selected by Toyota currently.

    Toyota's allocation process is dumb.

So I guess that pretty much confirms it. I didn’t really believe they’d opt to do a shade of green 3 years in a row.

still waiting for a yellow. That’s the obvious color they’ve never done.

A nice matte purple or black Cherry would also be pretty cool.

I couldn't actually locate a single vehicle through their program of any brand.

The issue is that they only return exact matches to your build without an option to specify just say "all 4Runners". You also can't specify a distance. I actually called them to explain why their program isn't very useful (especially for people like me that live in the middle of nowhere) but they didn't care.

Vehicle color is so personal and subjective. Even as a teenager I alway went with a neutral color. I do not like drawing attention to myself with "loud" colors.

This is very interesting!!! Toyota has allocated two 2022 limited trucks to your dealer. I didn’t know it was possible. I’m going to call my dealer today to see what they say. Thanks

I was told a drawing was going to be held on the 3rd for allocation and then a few days later someone on Reddit asked what dealer and sent me a screenshot of the 2022 4Runner allocations for them that were made. There was a Silver and a White (Pearl?) allocated so it appears it's happening. The next drawing is on the 17th so I'm crossing my fingers.

ETA: It even shows the Accessory codes for the build.
