what did you pay for your SR5P/ORP before the shortage??

I’m curious to hear what you folks paid for your brand new 4X4 SR5P/ORP prior to the nationwide vehicle shortage. Please state pricing before TTL as each and every state is different in tariffs/fees.

 

Back in June 2020 I paid before TTL $36800 for SR5 Premium 4x4 with leather seats, no 3rd row seats and no sunroof in Phoenix AZ. Final price it was after fees and taxes $40500. Of course I spent about three weeks and visited 12 dealerships in the valley. I wasn’t in big rush . Finally I bought 4R at Bell Road Toyota. Next closest price it was from Earnhardt Toyota for exact same model for $1100 more and all others asked $2000 to $4000 more.

 

Nice deal, did you have a trade in at the time?

 

2020 OR Premium in Jan 2020 - MSRP 45,500 paid 42,500.

 

$38,700 before TTL in September 2019. 2019 TRD OR(non-P) with KDSS.

 

No trade. Of course they asked after first ride $45000 OTD. At the end we negotiate and spent 2 hrs for $40500 OTD.

 

January this year ORP KDSS and sunroof had illumination and keypad entry added at port 41,700

10/4 on that. There are many existing threads but I do like it.
We use the keypad all the time. Living near the water and even just day to day it’s nice to not be bothered with keys.

 

It was $36k and change for my SR5 with some options...



Dealer begged me to sell it to him for $42k a month ago. Crazy.

 

2021 TRD/ORP/MR. List was $44,000+. I paid $42,000+. About an $1,800.00 discount. This was the first or second Saturday in March. I think I just beat the beginning of the craziness. Another week or two and I probably would have had to pay MSRP.

 

2021 TRD ORP MGM W/KDSS December 2020 Orange County CA $44,500 Saved about 2k. Right before the shit show started.

 

2021 4Runner TRD Pro MSRP was 51900, I paid 48500 before taxes and fees and that was back in March, but I technically had my name already on the car and it sat for a month while I closed on my house.

 

19 sr5p 40otd. Seeing used 17-18 all around me for 5k more than I paid new

 

2021 TRDP moonroof, blackout package, roof rack crossbars and vehicle protection package. 41,856 + TT&L. 44,813 OTD. December 4, 2020. So glad I pulled the trigger when I did. Took almost 2 months to arrive but my dealer was excellent (Huntsville Toyota).

 

In mid March 2021, I paid $36,300 for a 2018 SR5 Premium. Only upgrade ( to...Premium? ) was syntex/heated seats. Had 17,300 miles on the odo. Prices jumped about 2-3 weeks afterwards. I felt lucky.

I know you are asking about new prices, but thought I would share my experience.

I should add that I live in southern Wis. Truck was purchased in central Wis.
