The issue is not so much finding one.. It's finding one without a crazy markup. Their website says "call for price" = Priced way over msrp

 

Looks like it's already sold. I notice also, the TRD/ORP is priced a couple grand over MSRP. Can't believe the crazy prices people are paying. Think I got my 21' TRD/ORP/MR just a week or two before the wild pricing started.

 

There is a 2021 Lunar Rock Pro reportedly due to arrive at Toyota of Bowie (Bowie, MD - located between DC and Baltimore) on 8/12 or 8/13. I just spoke to a sales rep and it is unclaimed at the moment. She said there is a market adjustment, but she would not tell me what the adjustment is. GO FOR IT! I have had mine since May and am pleased with it. I paid a $2,000 above MSRP on 5/13/21.

 

All dealers will have units on their sites if they have one ordered, etc. They only remove once sold.

For example, I ordered my lunar rock beginning of May. By May 15th my order was accepted and I was given a vin. When I went to the dealer site, it was on there with my vin. It was on their site until I picked it up a couple weeks ago. So I bet 99% of the time you see one on a dealer site, it is already spoken for.

 

Agreed! But, in this case the sales rep for Toyota of Bowie (I called) said it was unclaimed at the moment. This is how I randomly lucked out and found mine. Some of them do fall thru the cracks. The LR I bought was ordered by someone else and that buyer lost patience and found one somewhere else. I happened to check a dealer's inventory the day (05/08/21) it was posted online and I was the first to inquire - BINGO! It would be interesting to know what percentage of LR's that are remaining for delivery are pre-claimed. I would guess 90%!

 

Mine is supposed to arrive in two weeks to the dealer. No markup and no port installed options.

 

When did it arrive at port? I am waiting for mine to arrive at the dealership any day now.

 

Arrives in port next week. Dealer claims it shouldn’t take but a week since I didn’t do any options.

 

Well mine arrived at port last month 7/23 and still has not arrived at the dealership. Just a heads up its been 2 weeks so far and I have no port installed options besides blackout emblems.

 

Actually I just found out it’s already at the port. Waiting to hear back on when it arrived

 

Was told Tuesday I wasn't getting the LR Pro I was assured I would get, after an extended wait. Dealership made some calls and found a few LR available and all with markup. Cheapest one is Pierre South Dakota and they are asking 4K over MSRP. Looks like I'll be waiting until 2022 and green / yellow arrives.

 

Why aren't you getting the original one anymore?

 

Sales Manager said they only received one LR Pro in the last 4 months. Based on their renewed level of urgency and willingness to try to help find one I'd guess I was passed over - but that is pure speculation.

 

They might not be getting anymore. They don’t know until the 3rd of every month what’s coming for the month. 2022’s are coming in October so not many more 21’s are going to be coming.

 

I got mine back in January. It took over three weeks to get from the port to the dealership. I had no special port-installed options at all.

 

When did you order it?

I am wondering if the Lunar Rock supposedly becoming available on the 2022's other trims has lessened the demand for the 21 LR Pro's?

 

I called my dealer this past Friday, this one was inbound and didn’t have a deposit so I snagged it.

 

Mine arrived on 7/30, dealer said the ship was not due to be 'Processed' until tomorrow... whatever that means... and also the ETA to dealer for my truck has disappeared.

 

That is how one fell into my lap as well. Not all of them are claimed! I saw a LR 4R on the lot today at DARCARS Toyota in Rockville, MD. Online is showing it as available. Price not disclosed.

 

i wasn't able to find a LR Pro either. I'll be getting a '22 ORP in LR with KDSS in the coming months though. can't wait!
