Toyota finally released news about the 2017 4runner looks like the Trail will be called the TRD Off-Road like it should have been called in the first place. It also appers it will finally be getting some beefy tires instead of the pos dunlop tires the trail came with.

I always want to put a trail tag or an off road tag on my SR5. Not trying to pose, just don't consider mine an SR5 anymore. TRD or Trail looks way cooler.

I like that Toyota used black to accent the rims vs gray...it allows the main design to standout and have a more '3d' effect.

It will probably look good then. For cheaper, you could go to an upholstery shop and have a red TRD stitched onto your cloth headrests.

Do you guys know of any place that's selling the sofTex upholstery? I couldn't add more cost to the truck so I went with a base TE, but would like to upgrade the seats at some point.

I prefer the naked pillars, personally. No offense to people that like stickers and shit, but I always think it's a little poseurish to make sure that other motorists know you drive a 4x4 Off Road Pro model of whatever. I'll convey this information to them with the massive scratches all over my sides and bumpers, the rusty frame from ripping up the Pacific waveslope, the dirt caked to everything, and the rear window totally covered in filthy with the exception of a 4" streak where the wiper has worn off some of the crud.

Generally I don't see other motorists on the routes I'm taking anyway, so it's a non issue, I guess.

Yeah I like my rig to look nice for clients. Rust is bad, you should do something about that. Could be an early grave for the rig.
