Rear-light protection?

Ya or Na? If one was to slightly mod the rear for that “tough” look.

 

They won’t pass inspection. But I don’t have inspection anymore.

 

We have these on the work truck. And it’s beat to hell, tail lights didn’t break.

 

Seems like a damage multiplier for a tail light

These actually came factory on the 90’s Land Rovers. My foreman had one and they wouldn’t inspect it. Not sure about the older Landcruisers or maybe Jeeps?

 

Maybe disperse a bit?

 

Lots of LR folks would run these, and take them off the 1st time a tree branch or sapling got tangled in it and cracked the lens or pulled the whole assembly out. My opinion is damage multiplier as well.
