The driver side seat heater on my 2020 started acting up few days ago. The heater turns on by itself and stay on for 5 mins or so, then turns off, then on, off, etc.. The heated seat switch is on off position while this is happening. When I turn on the switch the the light turns on and the heated seat is working fine. Not sure what's going on. I'm trying to avoid going to the dealership if possible. I'm fine with unplugging the connections under the seat for the heater just not sure which one it is. Has anyone had similar issues?

I guessing something may spilled on it causing a short. Perhaps see if the dealer will warranty it.

It's possible. I actually noticed that the light does turn on when the switch is in the off position but it's dimmer than when it's normally turned on. Sprayed it with some air duster and it has gotten a little better but still turns on by itself after drivign for 20 mins or so. I'm going to take out the switch to see what happens.

I'll settle for 5hp to the wheels.

I heard for high mileage trucks (I have ~70k miles), cleaning the maf and intake will improve gas mileage. I’ll give it a try l. I’m currently getting 11.6mpg on 295/70/17’s

Might be the switch... I've heard that most electrical probs are 90% ground related. I'm NOT good with vehicle electrical. Just a guess.

I think you are right. Popped the switch out and the issue is gone. I was hoping to switch the passenger and driver side switches around to make sure but they use different connectors. Either way I sprayed some more air around the connectors and the switch, put it back together and so far it's back to normal. If it doesn't work I'll just replace the switch.

Putting electrical switches right next to the drink holder is a design mistake waiting to happen.

Had coffee spilled in one of my switches a few years ago and got stuck. Took it out and poured some rubbing alcohol through it blew it out real good and it worked fine after that.

Try some TV tuner spray on the switch
