Got my Clazzio leather seat covers and seat warmers (front seats) installed over the last week or so!

My Tacoma had grey carhartt covers that I loved, but wanted to stick with black in the 4Runner interior. Had always heard great things about Clazzio but I am absolutely blown away by the quality for the price. After using the “Tacomaworld” discount, they were only like $60 more than just canvas covers and the quality is amazing.

Install did take like 3-4 hours but we’ll worth it. Going to give it a week or two and a day in the sun before I fully tighten everything up so it’s perfect.

All the off-road premiums I found had moonroofs which I didn’t want due to my height - all I wanted from the premium was leather for easy cleaning and seat warmers. Problem solved!

Wow! These look great! Thank you for posting such great photos. I've been in debate about which to pull the trigger on, looks like it's Clazzio.

    Very happy with the clazzio’s!

make sure you use code TACOMAWORLD to save $100 on them.

@SummitBound Thanks for the tip! Just ordered today. I have two VERY sheddy dogs, the covers can't get here soon enough. How long did shipping take?

Oh, and did you get all black or dark gray?

I did all black (ventilated in the center). If you look up pics of the dark gray online, it’s lighter than I personally would like. The shine of the flash just makes the ventilated centers lighter but it’s all black to the eye.

If you just get the ventilated center black and outer black it should be an in-stock standard. Mine shipped within a few days

Perfect, just want to make sure. I got the black on black ventilated, but they didn't have any in their inventory so I technically had to custom order. Hopefully the site just wasn't up to date, can't wait! Thanks, again!

Anytime! Install can be a pain and take 3-4 hours but it’s so worth it. Leave the seat covers sitting in the sun for an hour before you put them on and you’ll probably have an easier time than I did

@SummitBound Just my luck...they're sold out with a 4-5week wait time. Let the waiting commence.

Dang, sorry to hear that! Worth the wait, especially given the price of most fitted cloth covers out there.

I had Carhartt covers in my Tacoma. Loved them. Always hears incredible things about Clazzio but figured they couldn’t be that much better… I was wrong.

I was looking at the Carhartt seat covers for the back seat of my 21 pro 4R. I want to somewhat save the faux leather of the back seat as I will have a car seat, a booster seat, and a bulldog in the back seat when we travel and the car seats will be in all the time for daily driving. Are these worth getting to protect the back seat or should I just go with the Carhartt? I don’t care if either get trashed over the next five years or so but I want something to keep all the crud at bay. The wife’s highlander with leather is still dirty because according to her….”I can just take it to the car wash and they will clean it” and while they do their best, they don’t remove the seats and hose them down, hahaha

I chose these specifically because kids are on the horizon for us and I’ll have the pup in the back (with the seat flipped forward).

carhartts will take abuse more but will get gunky easier and are harder to clean (have to take them off to spray and wash them). Leather is much easier to wipe down with any leather cleaner. Obviously it is not as hardy as the cloth but these have held up well to nails so far and for kids spills you just wipe them down.

if you truly expect it to be an onslaught of spills back there, you can get some little protector sheets to go under and behind the car seat that you just take out and wash whenever.

different use cases for everyone but leather wipes down so much easier

Thanks for the great feedback! I dont expect a bunch of spills but you never know with kids and a slobbering dog. We travel to Michigan twice a year so eating in the car is a must if we want to make good time, at least for kids and the dog always gets some of that. Did you have cloth seats before you installed or the softex? Pretty self explanatory for install of the back seat covers? Thanks again for your input

Correct, I have cloth! Install of just the back will take you some time (probably 1.5 hours) but will turn out really well and it’s mainly a one and done thing

Awesome! Install takes time to do right, but it’s totally worth it. Fingertips and forearms will be sore after. Front seats take the longest.

I thought the same. I hopped all over it. I did do the "generic" ones.... probably why i got them so fast. But, im stoked with them.

Looks awesome!! My thoughts too - I was blown away at the cost (after discount) compared to cloth seat covers. Cost difference is essentially nothing.
