Want to keep ac running for the dogs. Anyway to keep the vehicle running and lock the door as I run in a store? 30 seconds or not, prefer the door locked. Thanks!

I leave mine run, leave the key in, and take my fob. Lock it, do whatever, unlock with my fob, and im in. Mine is a aftermarket compustar though.

Yeah, it doesn't work for the factory system. There is no key to leave in and when you take the fob and hit the lock when its running it just beeps and nothing happens.

There’s an actual key inside the fob, press a button on the side of fob to eject the key. Then lock the door manually with the key. You’ll also have to unlock it manually using this method.

You’re welcome! It’s been an important function to keep my two small dogs cool and safe.
