As the title says, I want to remove my 3rd row as it never gets used. I use my 4Runner to haul dogs which are in crates in the cargo area. Has anyone removed theirs and have pics of what it looks like afterwards? Anyone have ideas as to what I can do to fill the empty space left by the seats? I also want to make low-profile drawers to put under the crates. Can the drawers be anchored?

Wow, I have completely different thought where I wish I have 3rd row option on TRDs.

That was plus to me by buying the ORP because no third row to deal with. I guess I am in minority though single guy in s40s with no kids.

40's with no kids here too. The Limited fit my budget and met the requirements for what I needed

40’s with two teens. No way I’d want a 3rd row!

Hell, I even removed my 60/ second row seat. Frees up a ton of volume. Our youngest is leaving the house next month so it's just me & the lady from here on out so don't need it! Frees up some weight, too. Keeping the back 'jump' seat for now.

I deleted my 3rd row a couple of weeks ago, pics below. I followed the same layout in the link. IMG_2864.HEIC.jpg IMG_2865.HEIC.jpg IMG_2863.HEIC.jpg

Yeah our SR5 had them and they really are useless. Even if you use them for people there's basically no storage space left then.

tempting idea. my teenagers are both 6' + the third row is as useful as a screen door on a submarine anyway

It took me a few weeks but I didn't have everything up front for the job. I would say it could be completed in a weekend if you have all the tools and everything needed.
