While i hate pops/creaks too but you gotta remember we've put tons of money into different suspensions and bumpers and whatnot. Cant expect it to be dead silent.

 

wrong. 3" rise on those fenders

 

3.5 springs in the rear std coilovers up front cranked a bit and front fenders cut. Looks great IMO Should be perfect for me cause 2" springs in the rear.

If you have the uptravel for it, they do allow you to run taller tires when you cycle them up/down a lot during high speed stuff

I think Redswan Mike was blowing his stock fenders off with his combo of Wheelers Superbumps/34's on hard landings

 

On a side note, I drafted a big rig for 20 miles and my optimism gauge read this and kept going up!

I'm gonna get a second set of pretty wheels for DD tires and then I'll have my ugly corroded 5 spoke wheels sandblasted and I'll paint them, then mount some off road tires up on the wheels I give no fucks about

 

I considered LT due to my LBJ's clanking away, but I hit my mid-20s crisis and now want something fast-ish

In the meantime what's it like rolling around in a grand piano?

 

mother. fucker. Stripped the front diff drain plug. Rear was cake, didn't do the T case, painted my sliders silver, painted my LCA skids, will paint front skid tomorrow and maybe to T case and trans fluids.

you didnt miss much, i just drank beer and hung out more than anything. SHould have done the T case too but supposedly thats the least important of the 3.

 

Also, I do really like the cut flares up front. Would LOOK better if rears were, too, but I'm not sure if it would do much, considering that's partially door.

 

rear flares are about an inch or two higher than front to begin with.

 

But then I have skinny and fat flares.

So I took out my CV and saw this little metal sleeve and the bottom part of it is broken. Thought it was the rubber seal but nope. Anyone know what this is called so I can go get a new one?

 

Isn't it just a joint sleeve?
