Getting a 2021 SR5 Premium in 2 weeks or so. What goodies should I get?

Ok we'll be receiving our SR5 premium in a couple of weeks. I have some plans for it and have already purchased a couple things but I want to know if there are must have's I'm forgetting. Here's what we have so far:

    Center console organizer
Wheels and Tires. Zero offset and a stock size in the Toyo AT3
1 inch front Cornfed level spacers.

I very much doubt the 4Runner will ever get lifted higher unless my daughter decides she wants that when she gets it in 6 or 7 years. I had thought about doing an UCA upgrade now when I toss the spacers in. Is this even necessary for a 1 inch or will it be fine for a while?

Anything else you guys can think of? It'll basically be a back and forth vehicle with minimal time off the road. We live in Minnesota so we'll have snow and the occasional dirt road trip. It's not that we can't find places to off-road, but I have a power wagon so that's what that's for.

Congrats on the new ride, you do not need the uca’s. Your plan so far looks good, drive it for awhile and get a feel for what the next move might be.

Drive it for 2 weeks in bone stock condition, then decide if you want to change the ride with lift and tires.

Get a glass touch screen protector, the factory touch screen is so soft just finger touches will scratch it up.

This one is for the larger premium touch screens. It is glass and held in place with surface area vacuum/suction (no sticky adhesives) and air bubbles will have to occasionally be pressed out to the side when it experiences extreme temp differentials. But even with that "maintenance" it is way better than scratches. https://www.amazon.com/YEE-PIN-Navigation-Touchscreen-Anti-Scratch/dp/B085DKJD3N

Skip the spacers and get a suspension lift. I’ve got 5100s all the way around

Along with the center console divider get the Salex glovebox divider.
Another chrome delete idea is for the shiny Toyota sombrero logo on the steering wheel. I found it very distracting and bought the MESO logo cover. Another vendor was AJT, but I heard somewhere that Toyota got after them for logo infringement and I don’t see them offered anymore.
But I do see them on eBay and Etsy. I’d grab one soon before they’re no longer available. 065AE84D-C167-4D45-85FF-8297DB4A4762.jpg

A few others to think about:
    • Tint the front windows to match the rears
    • Weathertech floor mats for front and passenger
    • Canvasback liner for the back

Got the screen protector ordered. I'll wait on the glove box one unless my wife seems to want it. When we get it she'll have to make a decision on an audio upgrade from OEM audio plus or katzkin. It's really stupid they don't offer a third row in all models. They have to put the things together anyways. We would have gotten a TRD Offroad more than likely.

yeah I've looked at those. Is there a descent interior overlay kit for all the silver? Another reason I wish we could have got the trd off-road premium with a third row.

Ditto that glove box divider. One of the neat things about the 4R is all the cool aftermarket stuff you can purchase. The List seems endless. LOL

    +1

If you drive it for a while, you will understand the pros and cons of the 4Runner. I can't speak for the 2021, but the 2018 (and many other years) had corner lean and brake dive. Spacers will "level" the look of the vehicle, a lift kit will lift the truck and improve the suspension. Personally, i use the Eibach pro truck kit (a mild lift but a GREAT improvement in ride and handling), but there are many on the market. Something to consider is many of us that have replaced the suspension have 1 thing in common, we have all stated "It should have come this way from the factory".

Yeah most of the stock suspension these days sucks.

I got one of these WT cargo liners with the snap in liner to protect the bumper. I read previously a lot of people scratched bumper loading on accident. Just got a few weeks ago so far I like it. This is not a 4R in pic (obvious for many). The cover I have for the 4R does not cover the wheel wells. I wish it did or wish I could find something to, they scratch easily. This was a good start for me though

I also just ordered this thanks to my buddy Andrew's suggestion to organize all the manuals. Sadly we don't get anything like this from the factory.

I second all the suggestions to go with adjustable up front. I did 5100s all around and it made a significant difference in cornering and nose dive. Add the bug deflector and all weather mats and you’re good to go!
