I just bought a 2020 Tundra and wow did they change the oil filter; my 2 previous Toyotas had ordinary spin-on filters
Anyway, we are taking delivery on my wife's 2021 LTD and I am wondering what the oil filter will be; anyone know?
    Thanks.

They take a paper media type filter that goes inside of the housing.

Does anyone think OEM filter is better?
How about the Mobil-1, or Bosch or Microguard filters, they acceptable?

Personally I only use OEM filters.

Did that with my former 97 Tacoma and 95 Honda Civic. No issues.

OEM filters are really not more expensive either.

you are probably going to get many different opinions about this.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use any of them. I’ve used all in the past without issue.

I forgot to mention, almost 300k miles on both the Civic and Tacoma.
