MPG mountain driving w/285's

    Usually get 17-18.

    Had a 60 mile round trip in the mountains today and got 20 mpg.

    That's funny.

    Not a tremendous amount of climbing. I think the main contributor is an average speed under 55.

    Higher speeds are what really kills our mileage.

    I never got more than 14 to 15 miles per gallon in Colorado for almost 7 years.

    The high elevation destroys your power and economy.
