I know, I know, worthless without pics, and I will post just as soon as I stop and get some in daylight, it was a busy weekend. My Uptop Overland Bravo arrived on Saturday. It shipped 8 weeks to the day +2 of ordering and in time for our annual trek to OBX 4x4 area. My son plays hockey and for the last three years has played AAA but for some reason he was cut this this year and had AA tryouts and he also had the state lacrosse tournament this weekend. So in between delivery, ice rink and lacrosse fields I was able to assemble and put the Bravo on with his help. Fortunately he got the nod for AA after the first session and after going to one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate and getting some of the best churros for dessert we got home and put the rack on. What a piece of engineering, super happy with it. Sunday was out to fields and once home I got the light bar aligned and installed the Auxbeam 8 gang switch. It's a cheap switch pro and it works great. It'll hold me over until I get around to getting an sPod. My wheels will arrive Thursday and Belle Tire has my Toyo Open Country AT III waiting.

That's the most interesting looking wind fairing I've seen so far.

Negligible, their design is pretty unique and there's a video I found prior to purchase (I think it was an install on a Taco) where they talk about it briefly and how the design works much like the design Toyota intended and not creating small gaps under that air doesn't create noise. I drive an interstate to and from work daily and I do have a heavy left foot. Between lacrosse Sunday which was a good trip from the house and back and forth to work today, I can honestly say it wasn't any louder in the cabin. I listen to sports programs or podcasts mostly and the volume level was the same as always

I went back and forth between this and the Sherpa. I felt they were both quality products, both company's responded to emails quickly and they both seemed to offer a quality product. It really was a coin flip, I am 100% happy with my purchase and the product I received

I ordered a Bravo in early May. Can't wait to get it installed along with the sliders, lift, wheels and tires in Mid July. Thanks for the report on your experience with it so far!

Blackouts arrived today and installed by 12 year old, he helped with the sequential turn signals but I don't have video of them. All from 4RunnerLifestyle..Also installed it the Ironman 4x4 2.5x2.5 awning so I could ride with it for a couple days in case I needed to make any adjustments

Thanks! I really hope by doing these outings he’ll grow to appreciate them and understand how important they are. My hope is that one day he will do the same with his kids.

Its one of those all things Pokemon books. He and his friends at school have hit the Pokemon stage. He loves reading so as long as he’s reading, my wife and I are happy.

I am looking @ that awning. So I have a few questions besides your initial thoughts.
    1. Factory roof rack?
    2. Did you get the room attachment?
    Thanks & looks great,

Haven't done much aside from the daily commute to and from work here lately.

I'm also thinking it's time to contact RCI and see what's up. Still waiting on the Transfer Case and Gas tank skid plates I ordered, and it's past the timeframe listed on their leadtime page.

If you had different crossbars with the factory rails I would say yes to the smaller one. It would take some craftiness and some drilling to mount the brackets to the factory crossbars. I didn't get the room but did get the shade that goes on the end

    Doh!

    Stuck 4Runner.jpg

It was faster to just get a tug, then deal with the winch, or traction boards. Buddy of mine stuck his XJ just to the right of me. His nephew in a 4th gen 4Runner pulled him out. I decided to go around, should've taken the grass instead of playing in the mud.
