It was a must for what I intend to do. Go away and stay away;) especially so, if there's a fishing hole in the area:rofl:

Installed the goat armor to see how it fit and looked. Thinking about taking the rear bumper and having some side hoops added

Picked up a less than 20K miles 2018 TRD Premium. It was immaculate so before the dogs get in I've been putting in interior protection: Rear seat now has Canvasback custom fit seat cover - I like the side drops that most other similar products lack. Since the dogs will travel in this rear seat, I will likely add Canvassback's door panels. In the cargo area just finished installing Canvasback's cargo area covers - floor of course, both sides, and rear side of back seat. For the driver and passenger seats its Covercraft Precision Fit seat covers.

    Valuable lesson re-learned today.

I bought a “replica” TRD Pro grill in August of last year. I finally got around to installing it today. I put several coats of black SEM trim paint on the lower piece which turned out nice. I removed the upper grill and did not break anything. Anyone that knows me, knows that in itself is an accomplishment. I removed the original upper grill to install the mesh grill. That’s where the lesson was re-learned. What a piece of shit. Most of the holes did not line up to install the screws. The bracket did not line up at all. After a few minutes of frustration, I said f**k it and re-installed the original grill. Since I have painted the lower piece and since it has been 9 months since I purchased it, returning it is not an option. In the trash it will go. I will now find another option for a TRD Pro grill.

While I have always known this, the lesson that was re-learned today is: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Sorry to hear that. I never got to experience that install. I bought one for my ‘20 ORP from cartrimhome.com earlier this year. I cannot say how the fitment of that one is and I’ll never know, I guess. Somehow I went crazy and traded in the ‘20 ORP for a ‘21 PRO. Maybe I thought PRO was spelled backwards ‍♂️. Anyway I still have the grill in the box with the letters in bag with it. I am in Nevada, just east of Tahoe, if you’re interested in mine. I need to sell it, obviously.

Picked this up off Amazon. Reminds me of the fj display. Anyone have any experience? For $50 thought I’d give it a try. Might use a fuse tap instead of cigarette lighter. 0ED9C256-98DC-4B6E-B16C-A953CD3E866D.jpg

What year is your 4runner? 2020 and after use a different pattern. If 2020 and above you need to order the correct part

I took my son out to area with some yellow post camping to have lunch, do some hiking and enjoy some father-son bonding time.. The weather was perfect and, as expected, a lot of people out up there today. We were lucky to get a site, even if it wasn’t the location I was hoping to get.

    D935E802-FEB6-4277-9D97-B1B10DFACEED.jpg

Fun little rutted section my son enjoys going up whenever we are up heading up to the campsites.

I’m blessed to have such a amazing kid for a son who enjoys getting out into nature and spending time with his dad. Didn’t think he liked our last trip to Lytle Creek, but he even requested to go back up to Lytle Creek next time. Kids..so hard to read sometimes.
