Ordering a 4Runner..

After much thought and a few test drives, I will be ordering a 4Runner in the next week or so. I’m planning on ordering a ORP w/ the XP package. Those that have ordered a 4Runner, what should be my expectation on length of wait time? The salesman has mentioned a 6-8 week wait time, but he has seen them as soon as 2-3 weeks. I do live in St Augustine Fl, I mention that because of the port here that handles 4runners. Anyone in NE Florida have any experience with this?

 

Did your sales person in FL mention if it would be 2022 Model year?
I believe 2021 production has ended.

 

Last week I was told at two dealerships that I could no longer order a 2021 TRD Pro 4Runner. I don't know if that applied to all 2021 4R's.

 

21MY Fleet ordering schedule typically matches dealer ordering system which ended 5/10/2021.

I don’t know, he has yet to make that statement.. I know through emails and texts with this dealership that they have 2 TRD Pro’s scheduled to arrive at the end of May..

 

I hope they announce 22MY pro colors soon.

FWIW, yesterday (May 12) I asked my dealer here (west coast of Canada) about the opening date for 22 MY and he said they have no updates yet, it usually varies each year, depends on availability of stock and production. Was given the impression I could still order a 21, but I at this point I think I'm too close not to wait a few week.

Thing might be different this year tho: extended 21, shortened 22, never update to a 6 gen ...

 

Could be worse - another dealer told me the 22s wouldn't be delivered until fall 2022 !! Not that I believe that ...

But yeah, I'm thinking order soon and expect it near end of this year near winter, boo. That's why I might as well wait for clarity on the 22MY (and hope for goodies)

 

May be "Wind Chill Pearl"? I see Toyota use colors from Prius and rename it.

 

Ice edge is more of a flat off white.
Really awesome in person.
Used on the roof tops on lunar rock RAV4.
