WeatherTech or Husky Floormats?

Who likes what? Planning to grab a set of one or the other....

 

I've used both on previous vehicles, and both were fairly comparable and did a good job. I'd just go with whatever is the best current deal, and readily available to order.

 

I only got a set of Husky because it was on Amazon.

Works fine for us. Of course most we get is rain so not carrying snow or much of anything else.

 

I've had both in various vehicles. Currently have Husky because they were less expensive than WeatherTech. Husky covers the entire dead pedal. Same price, I'd take either, I don't have a strong preference toward one or the other.

 

I was just looking at the Husky and only the cargo mat comes in grey....what a bummer.

I had a set of WeatherTech in my F-150. I felt like, for the money they didn't last and look good as long as they should have. Like Dillusion, I replaced them with the Husky product (from Amazon) and I immediately liked them better, plus they were half the price. I felt like they fit better too. I only had them for like 2 months before selling the truck and buying my T4R (which came with the all weather floor mats) so I can't speak to their longevity. But I sure can speak to their fit, quality and price.

 

I use Husky and very happy with it. I got it from Home depot when there was a coupon for it.

I actually already have the Husky cargo tray, but no dice on the fitted grey liners. Looks like the only fitted ones are black

 

I picked up front and rear seat all weather OEDRO liners for $99.99 ordering directly from OEDRO. They fit perfectly and so far I’m very Happy with them. I have had Husky and OEM in the past and for the money these are excellent.

I went with weathertecs because the photos did a better job of showing that it covered the whole foot well

 

I'm a fan of the Husky Liners, myself. I really like the Weatherbeaters. A bit cheaper than Weather tech, and I think Husky offers a lifetime guarantee, if I remember correctly.

 

I will post a photo of the rear floor liner next. I realize the OP didn’t ask about any other options, but having owned Husky in the past, I like these better. I couldn’t find where they made a cargo Mat, so I ordered a Husky weatherbeater, from Amazon for $82 if I recall correctly.

I have been aa fan of Weathertech and been using them on my older vehicles.. but on the 4Runner, I returned the Weathertech and got a Husky which fit better and covered more. I gotta say though that the finish and texture on the Weathertech is better.

 

I prefer husky. I think they are a better product, fit better and they are made in the us just like weathertech likes to advertise. They also cost a bit less.

Weathertech wins with their marketing, that’s it.

 

I have experience with both Husky and Weathertech and can say that their quality is equal, but the Husky's fit better in the 4Runner. In the driver seat they cover further up under the pedals than weathertech and fit like they're OEM. This is a no brainer purchase:

The Cargo area is a little trickier. I went with the Husky for consistency, but its not the glove-like fit as it is in the front/rear seats. I was disappointed at first, but was satisfied once it had a chance to flatten out in the heat. I think there's only one real difference between the two cargo liners:

Huskys have wings that cover the plastic cutout areas behind the wheel wells in the very back of the truck. I prefer to have these areas covered and it will protect the truck from scratches if you put a Hi-Lift back there, but since this area is hard plastic, its not quite possible for a perfect fit. That said, I haven't seen the weathertech cargo cover in person, so that might not fit perfect either.

 

I have the husky liners for both the front, passenger, and cargo areas and the only thing I am not a huge fan of is the cargo area as I wish it would fit a little bit better although I like that it has a lip at the opening of your cargo area.

I went with husky less because of price but more because of reviews I read where the WeatherTech just were a bit louder because they were a slightly harder plastic and some said it sounded like tap dancing. Seems over dramatic but regardless I went with husky.

overall I've been very happy with the husky liners, especially for the price I got on Amazon.

 

I have the Husky's in my Tundra and does well with dirty peeps shoes.

 

I'm going to order a set of the husky's because of this thread. I have had both but i like how the husky's offer better coverage in the 4runner.

 

Probably be ordering the husky liners shortly based on the reviews and video here.

 

They fit great, glad I went with them.

 

Took out oem trd pro all weather floor mats and put in huskies, awesome.

 

Anybody try a weather Tec with this snap in flip down liner to protect bumper ?
