What is everyone running? Trying to leave the chrome behind. Hopefully I get a response this forum doesn't seem as busy as tacomaworld imo

Nice I'm leaning towards those or anzo.

 

I like them because they retain the stock look and function without the chrome. Didn’t really want running lights or anything like that.

 

Stock.... they look amazing!
Running aftermarket will be prone to the seals leaking in moisture and fogging up.

 

Do you think usr will have that same issue. I'm trying to get rid of the chrome.

 

While I certainly cannot predict the future, I have had mine for over a year with zero issues.

Yeah, these aftermarket tails made from China are hit and miss. Worse case, you can reseal them with clear silicone just to be safe!

ordered from USR. installed and contacted them the next day for a return request. bad seal! they emailed me and said that it was normal and would go away in a few weeks but if i wanted a return i can. lol, no thanks USR can have them back..

 

Not a fan of that design don't even think they're sequential.

I put the stock taillights back. I'm still wanting to ditch the chrome.

here are a few pics from my purchase with USR, of the condensation/fogging on each light and also bad edge. hope this helps.

 

I saw the teaser vids in fb, can’t seem to find it now .

I went with morimoto headlights so I don't know if they'll look good together. Really liked the nova series but the morimotos in amber

Well I'm most definitely waiting on these. Hope the price is right.

 

The Tacoma AlphaRex is in the ~ $265 range. Hope the runner will be same

 

Hopefully I'm pretty sure they'll want more though since it's sequential don't think the tacoma has sequential.

 

I purchased the blacked out tail lights by Depo from USR and received them last week. One of the lights is scratched and swirled all over, like it was dry rubbed with some Ribs. After I contacted USR, they asked me for some photos. Then they asked me for photos of the other light (which was fine) Then they asked me for photos of code/control numbers from the housings. Then they asked me to restate what my problem was again. Then they said they would forward my documentation to their vendor for resolution options! What? Are they kidding? Then I asked why can’t I just return the light for a replacement and was told I have to wait 1-2 business days for a follow up. Doesn’t seem right to me. What do you all think?

 

My cousin has some eagle-eyed ones and they came the same way he said he could live with it but in my head I was like nope I would've returned them asap. So yeah it's not right for them to keep you waiting.
