Hi! My wife bought a new ORP Barcelona Red with XP package. We absolutely love the truck. The one thing we don’t like however is the silver center sections on the front and rear bumpers. Does anyone make anything to black these out or do you just get them painted? Thanks for any help!!

They’re easy to paint on or off the vehicle. There’s a few you tube videos about it. I agree the silver valances look bad. Another option is buy new black OEM valances from Toyota and switch them out. It seems complicated, but it’s easy remove those big plastic bumper covers. You Tube on that, too.

I just swapped mine last weekend with the black OEM valances. Part numbers - 53901-35250 & 52169-35120. It seemed sketchy at first but the bumper removal wasn't bad at all.

Are those numbers for a 2020? 19 and older use different part numbers because the 20s have the safety nonsense sensor

I installed those part numbers on my 2020. I don't think the valance is any different on the TSS equipped models, the grille part is different because of the radar but this is the same I believe.

Looks like the part numbers are the same.

Could I see a picture of this? I also have a NB 2020 and want to see how the black valances look.

Plasti dipped mine too. It was very easy, and much cheaper than spending almost 400 for 2 pieces of plastic. In my opinion. clean TRD pic 3.jpg Plasti front 5.jpg

I don't really mind the silver valances on the mgm OR. Any other color, they'd be black asap.

But I'm not a fan of black wheels on a dark truck, either.

    I'm direct opposite.
I always thought that and always wished I had black on my white runner...it had gray. Then when I had the pro I really think the black went better with MGM. I'm sure some disagree...but I don't care

@landondale if you're in the Midwest, I have a black valence for the front bumper that I'm looking to give away. It has a few scratches, but looks perfect from 20' away.
