And never even throw an apple core or banana peel out the window. This will cause a deer to get too close to the road. Or a mouse, then an Owl will try to get the mouse. Leading to a collision....

Can't help but think about the unknowing, unsuspecting, nature loving little kid who may come face to face with a well intentioned little black bear, that's been taught bad manners by grown men.

Many years ago in Yellowstone a friend witnessed something like that. People were hand-feeding a very human-conditioned campground bear. A mother went to place her 3 year old on top of the bear’s back for a photo. The bear didn’t like that so it turned and slapped the mother and child and ran off. Everyone was OK but it could have been much worse.
She could have been a Darwin Award winner.

The bear ultimately loses as it will be put down or relocated!

Funny you said that as just the next day there was a group of visitors that had just arrived and as soon as they saw “Frankie” - dad was trying to show of and walked straight to the bear to pet it. Campground manager was not amused at all and cussed the guy out for probably getting himself mauled.
Ps: thanks to all others for all the useful info about the bears. I’ve learned a lot as I am sure some other forum visitors have.

4x innovations Sliders are on. Took about 3 hours solo, with hand tools. Like the way they bolt through the frame.

    All of them.
When you get a second can you measure the thickness of that cutting board? I am going to be adding the front runner table to my swing outs and I can’t find hdpe sheets in the same thickness as the wooden table front runner supplies.

I have yet to get my rig set up for a few over-landing trips. I hope to be read by October when I take the winter off and explore the south a little bit

Complete Dumas.., who thinks this is ok, smart, acceptable on any level? Wow.., you and your friends should never go camping again. Not being mean, but seriously, 8 year old kids know better. Let me guess, also think it is ok to fire guns in the air on New Year's Eve, and shoot fireworks into dry forests..... Can't wait for your reply.

Well might I suggest Arizona as we don’t actually have a “winter” more like a fall unless you are up in the mountains.

    Gunmetal

It's shadow chrome wheel paint stuff

I was shooting for black chrome like on night shades
But now I'm kinda digging that gunmetal look
(User error: after shooting clear on "shadow chrome" it turned matte)
    Happy mistake

Started having some issues with my driver side Weathertech window deflector. For some reason my window rubs against it at the very top corner, usually it can slide past it with minimal issue, but, sometime when I roll up the window it hits and makes the window roll back down.

I'm not sure what's going on. I've removed and re-seated the deflector, tried to pull it out further, but, it still rubs on the window when I roll it back up. All of the other windows roll up and down without even touching the deflectors. Worse comes to worse I'll just pull them all off and go without them, I guess.

On a better note I've actually managed to talk my wife into getting some sliders down the road. I'll have to find some that also make for a decent step, as she's not happy at the prospect of losing the NFab steps we have on already...Especially since I'm lifting the 4Runner. *laughs*

It's not out of the question that it's a factory defect. Give them a shout. Ten to one they ship you a new one.
