Looking seriously at the full platform Goose Gear offers. Just need to touch bases with them on what their options are to tie the frig down. It's not something I personally need on a roller system, but it needs to be secure when the trucks not in park;)

Edit: passed on the Goose Gear - decided to do it my way;)

Thank you sir. It's been fun so far.

Jamboree - couple of the guys were talking about it yesterday(during the install). Sounds like a fun event.

    1) this addition is a game changer. It looks like it belongs on this truck! Awesome
    2) I’m for sure going full ceramic. How did the expel turn out? You had partial PPF done right?

    1....thanks so much.

2...Couldn't be happier with the products(XPEL wrapped front clip & CQUARTZ ceramic coating). Making that kind of investment is always a little iffy(to say the least), because there's nothing more important than the people you choose to do the install. On that point we hit a homer. I don't do endorsements too often, but would not hesitate doing so in this case.

    For the DIY guys.

    First -watch Victories install video.

    https://www.victory4x4.com/product/V4R5FB.html

TIP: Then, when cutting the plastic away. Angle your cutting blade at at least 22 degrees or a bit more towards the inside of your cut(think of it as if you were looking head on at the front plastic while mounted) right angle the blade on the right side & left angle the blade on the left side - same process on the top cut. The idea is to not have any black plastic showing once the cuts are complete. Hope this makes sense.

Have been looking at the myriad of ways guys have set up their rigs. And for me I think it comes down to KISS. I'm liking the simplicity of leveling the back with a piece of plywood. Should be able to tie the frig down to that. With a little thought we may be able to secure the plywood to TOYOTAS factory tie down points. I hope? Then remove the seat bottoms and my 6' 4" frame should fit. I'm always open to any ideas or suggestions.

What’s the issue on the bumper & winch installation?

It's an alignment issue. More on that - once I know more.

Looks like a great fit. I would need to cover the butterfly. Make a plate out of .25 abs, not that I've been thinking about it. How was the install?

    Changes.

Removed - spare tire & steel wheel, backseat seat cushions & headrests.

Added - rear_swing out, spare tire mount, camp table, 5th OEM wheel w/Terra Grappler G2 - front_winch & bumper(+other minor things like shackles, hitch & ball, etc)

New scaled weight w/just over 1/2 tank - unoccupied

    Front - 2,620
    Rear - 2,360
    Total - 4,980 (+160 pounds)
Less than I thought it would be.

Height change - front & rear - negligible.

Trying to beat the HEAT. It'll be here soon and I hope to be gone.

Leaving bright and early in the morning to have a front camera installed and the rear relocated. Then I'll be off to Westcott's in Phoenix next week. Lift/level time. Once that's done I'll be able to focus on the back of the truck. Leveling, frig location etc, etc. So far I'm enjoying it all. Just wish I could be more hands on with the changes.

I hear you on wanting to be more hands on, i do some stuff myself, but I usually take it to the shop. I did construction work for almost 40 yrs. steel stud framing & drywall, it kinda takes a toll.

Front camera installed - backup camera relocated. (was blocked by RIGd swing out). Backup camera operates with reverse(as normal) but can be switched on at will, same with the added front camera. Whichever is selected will stay on until it is turned off. I like that. Only wish I could deprogram the backup camera guidelines(no way - right?).

What a job. 2 very conscientious, steadily paced Pro's, did the work. It took a total of 15 man hours for the complete install, including custom made camera mounts and all else involved in such a job.

Hats off:hattip:to them. They are true professionals.

Work was done yesterday, and a long day it was. Was up at 3:30am and due to LA's commuter traffic we didn't get home until 10:15pm. :deadhorse:

Does the camera “record”? Seems every time I go out lately someone crosses the fog line head-on....

Ended up being a chunk of slag which was holding one side out further than the other. Fixed.

Will bust out of here about 3am for our 8:30 appointment. It'll be interesting to see how much axle weight transfer occurs after it's lifted. And, if this will be the death knell for the already faltering safety sense?

Just finished my 700 mile turn. Install went well, and my butt o meter says it was a wise choice(for me). Actually, much prefer how it rides and handles now over stock(the suspension isn't stiff, but it's no longer a lazy-boy).
Safety Sense worked flawlessly on the way and post lift and alignment. Darn if I know why it did what it did? Or why it cleared itself?. One things for sure....it keeps me on my toes cause who knows when it may happen again?

Next on the list - leveling platform - window tint and some miscellaneous odds and ends. Then it's time to hit the trail and start fine tuning what's needed - and not. Plus it needs a bath.......bad!
