Probably the front doors window tint and side steps. Probably staying with the Tyger steps I have on the 4runner. And add the 42 light bar in the bottom of the grille. Pretty much leaving it stock for now. Thank for asking.

 

Diode Dynamic SS3 Pro SAE Fog in amber. Significantly brighter! Instead of changing out the headlight assembly, I also installed the H11 to H9 low beam and 9005 to 9011 HIR high beams. Less than an hour of work and under $100. Wouldn’t believe how much brighter it is between 10W.

Finally got the alignment done after lifting the 4runner with Dobinsons 3” lift.

First phase of bumper install done. Cuts made, wires spliced and ran for the plate light and backup camera, a little cleanup/paint, and stuff removed that needed to be removed.

Bumper will go on tomorrow when I have a helping hand.

I still need to think up what to do with my ham antenna too... I had it on a rago mount on passenger side, but looks like it will likely interfere with the swing out.

 

Hi Michelle, Yours look great!! I wish I could keep both. It’s better if I trade it in and only have one. I do love my 4runner but I want the truck more.

 

Found a perfect use for the black plastic factory front license plate bracket that comes with the Runner. Makes great source material for small items. Finally made a small insert to hold the iDrive module. Rough fit it for now. Hope to tighten up on cable later.

Did the needle bearing/ECGS bushing, look at the needle bearing thread. I am writing up a little something... I was able to do it in 30 mins only pulling two bolts and one tie rod

Starting to get my Off-Road ready for camping and fishing, and the kayak. I ordered a couple of stainless crossbars from LFD yesterday...but not sure of the leadtime, as one is backordered.

Also got some ventishades on. The regular (not low profile) ones that stick on the frame. I like them. Quiet, cant really hear any new noise. Dont expect the visors themselves to be perfect. They come with scratches, and you’ll need to scrape some flashing off the edges.


And I also fitted my fishing rod holder straps. Seems like a good idea to keep the rods safe and out if the way.

Installed some minor mods today. Hooked up the Pedal Commander and promptly went out and played with it. Grinning like a maniac the entire time. I love this thing! Then got the AVS Bugflector II installed, now getting ready to put the screen protector on.

 

I got a Krazy Beaver shovel yesterday, and I took my RC Enduro Trailrunner in the back of my 4Runner this morning. I'm still waiting for Rago molle panel mounts for the shovel. I'm afraid they're not going to come out far enough to fit the shovel, though. I really should have taken a tape measure to the back of my 4Runner Well, maybe I'll just have to get the big Rago shelf.

 

Planned on a full detail today. After the gym, cutting the lawn, and misc. Housework, I added some Lucas fuel injection cleaner and filled up with premium to burn. Opened a bottle of wine and began mental preparation for Monday.

Sadly, I can't use the Husky Cargo Liner I bought, since when I bought it, I didn't know I'd end up buying an SR5 Premium w/3rd row seating. Thankfully, it came with the Toyota Cargo tray.

 

Hopefully, you're not in a rocky situation as those steps will get ripped off or bent up first thing.

 

Picked up a set of Dobinsons drawers semi locally (under 6 hours away counts right?) got them installed. I’m super happy with the drawers. The jury is still out on the wing kit though. I think these were in a 4Runner but running the universal wing kit.



install wasn’t easy but once I got under the truck and found the factory nuts for the cargo tray it was pretty easy / straight forward.

 

We also decided we are going to downsize our fridge. If anyone in the southeast has a cf3 55im and are wishing they had a larger dual zone message me.

 

Not the best picture angle, but was too tired to pull it out of the garage for a proper pic by the time it was done (last night).

Initial install was actually a bit of a pita... though it’s hard to say if it’s really because of victory, or just variations in my frame. It was a super tight fit over my rear frame/crossmember, which made it very difficult to position and lineup. I had to gradually tighten the four main (hitch) bolts in front to get it to sort of squeeze it in, to even get it to where I could start the rear underside bolts. But then it was essentially stuck in that position. It was slightly biased right, but even with loosening every bolt, it wouldn’t budge from that spot at all. Virtually every spot for a bolt also had to be tapped, but that’s mainly just because they’ve been through a couple Michigan winters, so not totally unexpected. After that, the rest was fairly easy.

Happy with end result though, just hope it never has to come back off, lol.

Of course, also added a fold down table for the swing out (second picture). I then also drilled out the antenna mount spot to fit a UHF mount... but need to order a shorter antenna. My old one def wouldn’t clear my garage in this spot. I originally had my antenna on a rago hitch mount, but it would have interfered with the swing out, so it had to go.

 

Second one in a month. Glad I got the warranty last time lol

 

What is it? That looks like a piece of MDF.
