I think there was a big chunk of orders between you and I.

Evidently, that's when stimulus checks came out......so everyone put in an order for a rack right before I decided to pull the trigger

I believe that if I didn’t speak to Weston, I would still be waiting for my rack :hattip:

I guess the good news is they haven't held your money hostage for the last 6 months...

Y’all have some patients. I couldn’t wait that long for any truck parts. I ordered a awning yesterday and already checking my email for tracking haha.

I eventually went with the victory 4x4 roof rack and it was at my door 3 weeks later. Can’t beat that.

    All of them.
Did you stop your wire hider at the bottom and top of the glass? Or did you go under the plastic trim on the bottom of the windshield? And did you go over the glass any on top? My wife hider came yesterday and I’m gonna definitely have to cut some off

I dremeled a channel in the cowl so the wire hider could continue into the engine bay. I haven't sealed it but I'm gonna possibly look into doing that. I ended the wire hider at the windshield top. I debated going further but the gap was weird in my opinion.

Side note the hider messes with the aero and you do have slight pooling on the driver's edge.

I haven’t looked closely but on my FJ you could pop off the a-pillar sheet metal and run wire behind it without using wire hider down the windshield channel.
Excited for you! Suppose I’m a month or so out. It’s ok with me. I got some bills to pay off before the rack hits my cc. If we get the $1400 for stimulus I’ll use that to pay for off the rack.

The way it appears it’s around a 6+ month wait time. I’d be cautiously optimistic, but don’t hold your breath either.

I’m at 19 weeks; Ordered mine mid October of last year … Gobi Stealth as is… Called them today for the first time to check status and all I got was there working on it … I’m in no rush, but I would a least appreciate a call or email with current status …

I just used Gobi’s order status request link on their webpage. Will see how long it takes to get a status update. I’m right at 22 weeks as of today.

Placed my order 10/14 and confirmed 10/18. Looks like I can expect(hope) for mid April. I clicked the link and filled out the form for an update. I’ll place the call to Weston next week if I don’t hear back this week. I’m not in a rush but could do a quick speaker upgrade while waiting.

It's on! Stealth no-rise ordered August 31st. Received March 8th.

Proud to say I installed this rack 100% by myself. Even lifted it onto the roof alone. :curls:

Stoked on how it turned out. 1 bolt did freeze up on me which I still need to fix. Definitely recommend using anti-seize on every bolt, like Gobi recommends.
