Gobi rack question

I have a Gobi stealth roof rack and have some accessories from the previous owner. Unfortunately the keys to the ax/shovel mount was not one of them.

Has anyone had any luck with Gobi to get a replacement key? They never answer their phone or questions I submit in their "contact us" on their website.

Second question - does anyone know what this accessory is? I tried looking on Gobi website but it is probably discontinued because on don't see it on their website.

 

A locksmith can pick it(lots of folks here could too. I bet). Then if the barrel is numbered? Make new keys. If not numbered he/she can replace the barrels with fresh keys.

That is for a hi-lift. If you get it working and you have a hi-lift can you let me know what you think of them? I was going to buy a set but not sure about those with the price they cost.
