TRD Pro Wheels on a 2018 SR5 Premium

    Hey guys! I just recently purchased a 2018 4runner sr5 premium and I'm looking to swap the stock wheels out for the gunmetal gray TRD pros. Bolt pattern is the same but the offset is a bit different (stock is 15mm and TRDs are 4mm). I just want to know if anyone has any insight.

    I wonder if you are looking at wider tires? TRD Pro wheels are good up to 275s. If you want to go 285s you would need wider wheels at least as per tire specs from BFG KO2 and Falken Wildpeak data sheet when I looked.

    When I was looking for 17" wheels for my Limited I looked at TRD Pro wheels and love the looks but since I wanted to go wider tires 285/70R17 I purchased TRD Offroad wheels. TRD Pro & SR5 wheels are 7" width vs TRD Offroad wheels are 7.5" right?

    yes, the trd pro wheels are 7” wide and trdop wheels are 7.5”. per tire manufacturers, you should be running 285’s on a min of 7.5” wheel but in reality many 4R owners run them on the 7” trdp wheels without issue.

    Are those different caps in the center or something? I haven’t seen others besides the red TRD in the center. I like them! I’m also building a blacked out look, but have the red centers in the wheels

    My 4Runner is super white - I had such a hard time deciding between the gunmetal gray trd pros and the matte black but ultimately decided on the gunmetal. I'll definitely post a picture when I get them on!
