    Hey Everyone,

Looking into getting some Front and Rear wheel spacers for the Runner. I was at first thinking 1.25 Spidertrax, but now like either the 1.5 or 1.75 Bora’s. I am running 285/70/17 with 17’ Fuel Krank rims. Suspension is Radflo 2.5 EXT Front and rear COs with Remote Resi’s Fully Adjustable, Total Chaos UCAs, and ARB 3’ Rear springs.

Do any of you currently have 1.5 or 1.75 wheel spacers and if so, can you please post pictures of your Runner and guide me towards making the correct decision?? Thanks everyone.

Good to know thanks Mtbpsych!! Jynarik, nice looking Runner. Not too sure of the offset, I bought the Runner brand new from the dealer with the rims and tires already on. I am sure I can figure it out though. Thanks for posting the pic.

What are the spacers for? Are you just trying to get more poke? If your wheels already have a good offset for your setup, adding spacers is only going to hurt it.

Just for a more aggressive look. See lots of Runners on here with the 1.25 Spidertrax’s and love the look. Saw a few with 1.5 Bora’s and looked great too!!

I gotcha. Yeah man to each their own but my personal opinion is to only use spacers to run stock or stock offset wheels to run a bigger tire and not rub on the UCA.

If you're not rubbing on the UCA or anywhere else, I'd be hesitant to run spacers as they will likely make you rub.

Again it's your rig so if you want spacer than rock on, just figured I'd throw my two pennies in and be a nay sayer haha.

I took them off. Dealer had installed them with TRD rims. Looks great and all but even with lift and UCA's, it rubbed really bad on body mount. Don't want to chop the body mount. I want function over looks.

I would only run front and rear spacers with stock wheels. Usually the wheels have enough offset to fit good with some poke. But after lifting an IFS toyota the front track width does get narrower, i run bora 3/4” on the front only with my scs 8” wide wheels. Matches the rear about perfect.

What size tires? And OEM wheels without spacers? You should have the alignment done and max out the caster. Basically set the rear cam on the front lower control arm all the way towards the outside and and adjust the camber with the front cam bolt, that should give you more clearance. And body mount chop doesn’t hurt function.

285/70/17 KO2's on Stock TRD rims. I'm using Dobinsons UCA's. Without spacers I get zero rub. Wheels great. Just doesn't have an aggressive stance.

Ya, I know BMC isn't a big thing. I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around cutting my new truck. Local shop here does amazing work on BMC's. Looks factory.

Right on. With spacers on the front it may rub, i would try to maximize the front caster to help clear. But then there’s the front fender liner clearance.

Spacers on I rubbed bad with stock wheels. With them off, I have no rubbing.

I would do what you feel comfortable doing. I don’t mind a little trimming and cutting. I was just trying to offer suggestions.

I have 1.5” wheel spacers on the front with stock Off-road wheels. My caster is set at 3.6 degrees and I don’t rub on the body mount with 285s. I needed to trim the front fender flare and move the fender liner forward to eliminate rubbing.

However, I think I’ve pushed my offset to the limit with this set up. If your aftermarket wheels already have offset, you very well could be doing a body mount chop and the fender liner mod. Not a big deal though.
