New TRD OR just on the 2nd day.
Problem with the multi-terrain system: at a snow-covered upward slope, shifted to 4L, then select mud terrain, let it self-drive 200m below 10kph, shift back to 4H, then everything got wrong.
Drived 200km back to the dealer. Dealer checked the code "wheels not spinning at the same speed", cleared the code and say it's actually all good (mechanics have no idea what is about too).
I didn't use lock differential. I made full stops switching 4L. Where the wheels spinning issue come from?

Were you off-roading? I wouldn’t let it drive itself up a snow covered hill, that could be the issue. Flat ground, no problem but on a literal slippery slope, probably not the greatest idea. Some other off-road owners might be able to chime in about their experience though!

no, it's just a snow-covered road with about 10-degree slope.
isn't 4L designed for the slippery climbing situation?

Yes, but I would opt to be in control at that point when climbing a slope versus letting the vehicle attempt it. Just my two cents.

Did you switch MTS off before switching to 4 high? I haven’t read much about MTS yet but I thought it was for 4L.

I’d hope wheel spin would be a thing that clears itself because unless the diff is locked, that’s kinda what happens.

    All of them.
When mine did that but the check engine light didn’t come on at all. Mine said multi terrain select unavailable and the green hill climb light flashed constantly. Mine they couldn’t find a fault either other than “something must have gotten frozen” and the problem went away. Mine was after driving in heavy snow as well preceeded by rain all night that turned into ice

I'm pretty sure MTS won't even work unless in 4L. I've never tried but I think the switch doesn't respond just like when you are in 2H.

I believe the problem happened right at stop, even before shift back to 4H. I think 4H all offroad buttons don't work at all.

quite similar to me just I have an additional engine light on.
I drove through heavy snow (about 10 inches) after that, no problem.

You’re correct. They when you push them you’re prompted to shift to 4l

The "Mud and Sand" MTS selection will work in 4L and 4H. The other 3 in 4L only.
