The $80 annual fee also includes Safety Connect and Destination Assist services. Services involving operators. May also keep dynamic navigation active, but not sure about that.

    Monochrome everything. LED reverse lights.
I found I just need to hold down the lock button longer than I think it should. And it usually works.

That’s the bad part it don’t. It only covers remote connect. Not the other 2. That’s another $80.00 a piece. So it would be $240.00 a year.

^only thing keeping me from adding remote start. I've had it on many many rides over the last 20years but that bugs the crap out of me!! I can't understand Toyotas logic. all other manufacturers (that I've owned) do not shut down

I installed the factory remote start on my ‘17 Pro and I have keyed entry. Just needed it programmed to work.

I think it makes sense as an anti-theft measure. Mine is going to be parked on the street for the next couple weeks, and when I used remote start for the first time this morning it gave me peace of mine to know no one could drive off with it. Not a big deal to restart.

I’m really disappointed with Toyota on this. 10 minutes and shuts off. I start it up right before I get in the shower. I could come out to a running truck if it would continuously run 15-20 min and it should stay running when I get in.

I might check next year with my audio guy they do these install also beside audio systems. Going to check to see how much for remote start. My friend got it on his tundra and he can start it with the key fob or phone app. I think it was like $250 for 5years.

Yeah I've never used or have no idea how to use the other two. Remote Connect is all I need and want.

I bet that functionality was lost when your head-unit did it's "Entune Update" I wondered what the heck it was actually updating....

I disagree, but we won't get into that here. :)

It's quirky, to say the least, but the TRD Pro definitely has it. Press lock (pause for a second), press lock (pause for a second), and then press and hold lock for a few seconds until you see the blinkers start to flash. Let go of the lock button and it should start. It took me a couple of tries to get the timing down.

The most irritating thing about the remote start is that the engine shuts down when you enter the vehicle, so you have to "restart"... I don't understand this.

Yeah. The app makes it easier. But it takes a long time.

I have a 2019 Pro and the lock lock hold doesn't work for me. I downloaded the app just for shits'n giggles (even though I have an aftermarket remote-start) and after punching in my VIN, it states that my vehicle isn't equipped with Remote Connect.
