Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Where in NY do you live? Must be way north 'cause here on Long Island we have nothing at all thank goodness! I really hate snow and the cold but can't seem to get the anchor (wife) to move south. I might have to go it alone. If I never see another snow flake again I'll be a happy man.

I went with the 2.0 meter awning and I bought the enclosure as well. Honestly it feels pretty solid but time will tell

Upgraded the interior lights to LED. Only $25 on Amazon and I am quite impressed. Seems like a shortcut on Toyota side but it took about 30 minutes (darn map lights) to get going. Sorry the pictures might not do it justice.

Thanks for this. I’m about to wire my light bar and I read on another post that the pink wire was the hot one. I have a 2020 too, so this is a big help. Did you just t-tap white wire?

Could you not just make a claim on your insurance or better yet go visit the car wash where it happened because they may help you pay to get it fixed. … Never hurts to ask.

I dont remember seeing a pink wire. White becomes hot when the parking lights are turned on. Otherwise its 0V

One would think that the cover would be more robust. However, the guy at the dealership told me that they have seen a few that just become loose. Then it takes nothing to get them off-kilter. Mine broke ... at least the two tabs towards the back, so a new unit has to be installed. He said I am lucky that the roof didn't flex or dent.

True. BUT... it was a couple of days later. I wish I had gotten out of it as soon as I pulled out of the wash, and taken a pic with my phone. Now it would be my word against theirs.

It's the weirdest thing. I'm up in Plattsburgh (about as far north as you can get in NY) and we only have about 6 inches of snow. Only one storm so far

Just came home with new ELKA lift. At stock settings its really good on road. Need to play with the settings and see how it handles both on and off pavement.

Sorry I have no clue what Elka use on them.. :(

When Toytec show me the package it was pre-assembled (if that the correct word to say shocks and coils were as 1 part in the box). I will see if I can see anything written on the springs.

I think they come with 700lb springs stock unless you specify you want something else........so I'm guessing they're 700lbs. No need to dig into it if it's a pain in the ass. I was just curious.

I have been debating between the 2.0 and 2.5. I really like the length of the 2.0 you have.

Still kinda starting out with my (wife’s) 4Runner build. This is second behind my Taco so it’s going slower! We bought it back in October, so far I’ve just added a pro style grill with lights and swapped out the roof rack with a black one. Next thing is to get some Method Bronze 305’s and all terrain tires :D

it seriously easy compared to the videos I have seen, we both watched the same youtube. Start from the inner corner, walk up, put the tool in just a few mm and twist slowly and "walk" your way your way up, you will feel it when you are close to a tab, it will work itself out.
I actually find it harder to put back in than to take out, especially the lower black part. I am confident I can do it any day, any time, with no tabs broken. It's easier than it looks.

We are in a provide-wide lockdown, province-wide stay-at-home-order, emergency state declared.
Can't go anywhere, police enforcement is at all time high.
i just went in the garage and touched its fine curves, admired its bodacious forms, went inside, smelled the interior like a breath of fresh air and then just got back in the kitchen and had 3 more beers.
WTF is this Mickey Mouse shit going on.

Blacked out the front and rear badges, added the AVS hood protector and removed the TRD Off Road side badges. Next step will be replace the wheels, plasti-dip the valances and get some black running boards.
