Anybody running these in P-load? How are they for off road? Week or OK for occasional easy/moderate trails?
I know that P-load cannot be aired down below 20psi but I'm OK with this.

I am running these in P Load, in stock size. I air down to about 22-25 off road, which has been fine for all the rocks here in AZ. Its also my daily, and they are very good on the highway.[/QUOTE]

Great tires. I've got them in stock size E-loads. 6,000 miles so far over all types of terrain, including some light mud and snow. I'm very impressed with these tires for overlanding. They balanced nicely.

Great to hear! I'm looking hard at these E loads in factory size. Probably go with this one, or a KO2 C load, as I'm not planning on a lift until later.

I'm running these in the stock size in the p-metric rating. They are great tires and I had them cruising around in a few inches of snow over Christmas. They did great. I needed a tire that did good both on and off the road and getting them in a standard load was a good compromise.

Standard load will probably be good if you're driving off road in dirt/gravel/mud, but if you're doing rock crawling that's where I'd be worried about a puncture.

Nah, no intention to do hardcore rock crawling (unless occasional rock spots appear on the trail with no way around)

Just pulled trigger for a set of these as well, SL load in stock size on my Eibach Pro Lift otherwise stock Runner. 90% pavement driving for me. Hope to get them mounted this week.
So these guys cannot be aired down below 20psi? Must remind myself to recalibrate my Stauns deflators (came set at 18psi) before next beach driving season.
Happy New Year to you all!

So Chicago had it's 1st snow tonight. Verdict for me? They run ok but the stock nitros that were on my old Pro were better for Chicago streets snow driving. Kinda wish I kept my stock rims and slapped some defenders on them for winter months as they were the best I've ever driven with personally

I went for a spin about an hour ago just to try them out in some snow. I had pretty much the same thoughts, aside from not having experience with Nittos. But, they seemed around middle of the pack for 3PMSF AT's I've driven on. They're still a heckuva lot better than those Dunlops were. :)

Kings Shocks, SPC UCA’s, Method MR702 rims, Toyo AT III’s in 285/70/17, Gobi Roof Rack, various Baja Designs lights.
Totally opposite. I disliked the OEM Nitto’s... preferred Ko2’s... and even better the Toyo AT III’s. It was nasty from vermilion to Rt126 Brazil.

Not necessarily "cannot". I've read on some forum that these (SL-load) tires detached from rims at 17PSI and advice not to deflate them below 20PSI. YMMV

Can't remember, do you have a pro? They come with nitros, most other runners come with dunlaps I believe and they suck on any pavement!

Pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on a set of 5 of these in LT255/80R17 E. I like the weight on these tires (50lbs per Toyo).
    https://www.toyotires.com/product/open-country-at3

@Thatbassguy can you run your tire air pressure calculator and let me know what tire pressure I should be at for these?

A question - where are the tires made?

Some are made in Japan, and some in USA. I think most of the LT's are made in USA.

Here's what Tiresize.com came up with

My stock size SL are made in USA.
First AT ever for me, so I can only compared to stock Duelers, rides great on freeway, no steering vibration and not any louder than stock. I’m happy with them.

Hey James. Your 4RUNNER is amazing. May I ask what roof basket you have? I’m getting my son a Thule Canyon XT for our 2011 LC, and I’m interested in potentially getting one for my new 21 OFRP. Happy New Year!

That was a Yakima Off-grid basket. It was the large, with an extension.

    New shoes went on today.

LT255/80R17 33" pizza cutters. Stock suspension, no rubbing in drive or reverse, even at full lock. They're a bit more firm than the oem Bridgestones, but still nice and soft. I was thinking an E load would be much more stiff. They're stable and track nice and straight at highway speeds, with very nice cornering as well. They're a bit noisier than the factory tires which had only 16750 on them, but I knew that going in.

Color me satisfied and relieved they fit without a lift, since that won't happen for several months.

Thanks guys! I'll let you know how it goes.

Running 44 psi front and 43 rear. Haven't done a chalk test yet but I plan to soon. Really blown away by the ride quality. I was expecting a somewhat harsh ride since it's an E load, but it's like riding on pillows with excellent control. We have a stretch of horrible pavement on one of the county maintained roads close to my house, and these tires just laughed it off.
