I'm stoaked! Pictures as soon as I get em installed.

Currently have Falken Wildpeaks that have been solid for 55,000 miles but I gotta try something new.

They are my favorite tire so far. I ran them here during a really rough winter in Virginia. They were exceptional. I would 100% run the Falkens again.

Thanks for the catch. I was looking for SL but remember now they dont come in that but rather the B Load/4 Ply/116Q. SL is standard load, aka P rated aka the lightest load range.

okay. when i go to america's tire i see the the 285/70/17 for $257 each. but these are 116q/c1 (6ply). it's usually in the $243 - $253 range since i've been looking at BF deals.

Technical specs are subject to change without notice. LT tires with a "C" load range have a 6-ply rating. LT tires with a "D" load range have an 8-ply rating. LT Tires with an "E" load range have a 10-ply rating. LT Tires with an "F" load range have a 12-ply rating. *Indicates Extra Load (XL)

Check Nitto's site and you'll see the 116Q's. I don't know if it's a new size because I've never seen it until this week.

The terra grapplers do fine in the snow. I ran them when I lived in Colorado blasting snow in first tracks going to work each morning in Breckenridge. They worked great.

Thanks, I'll forsure try them! If they don't work out well I wanted bigger tires anyway. Would just be an excuse to get a new set, lol

Congrats. I was debating between the Ridge Grapplers and the K02s. I went with K02s. Anyway, not sure how many miles you have on your current tires, but I only had 5,000 miles on my original tires (2019 T4R ORP) and they gave me $50/each for them as a trade-in. Never had that happen before. The original tires were the Bridgestone Dueller HT's.

I've run the KO2's on a Tacoma I used to have. I liked them quite a bit but sold the truck before I could wear them out.

I think my Falkens maybe have 2,500 miles left of usable treat before they're illegal so I doubt Discount would give me anything for them, but thanks for the heads up, had no idea they did that.

In person the "aggressive" side wall looked a lot more off roady than the other side. I think they both look good but I wanted my mall crawler to look full send.

I’ll take some pics tomorrow as it was already dark as I left the shop. The ride is firm and smooth. The tires are quiet

2020 with 265 Ridge Grapplers. I love these tires. Very quiet and great ride at around 34psi. I have ridden them at 38psi - more firm but mpg wasn’t much improved but I haven’t done any long distance driving.
Recent rain put them to the test and they handle beautifully. They grip great in the rain as long as not pumped up. 179D15AF-9D9E-492F-BF58-66CE6AF6059D.jpgBC8EBBDE-C76C-421D-A0F4-A9E3F37D522E.jpg

Hey all, wondering how you all like the SL (4 ply) tires so far a year later? How do they feel and hold up? How many miles do you have on them vs the tread left.

I'm looking at getting these as well and don't think it's worth jumping up to the C 6ply for the extra $50 per tire when I'm not going off road all the time. I do a lite trail maybe 2-4x's a year. What do you all say?

Also, any of you running a 9.5" wide wheel with the 4 ply? I've got my Black Rhinos 17x9.5" wheels arriving Friday.

    Thanks!
