I’ve been looking for a set of OEM door edge guards for my 21 Venture in red. Obviously looking for each door to be protected, but some sites say 2 pc set for part# pt9363511013. I’ve contacted a few dealers and they says it’s 4 pieces. Does anyone know if I will get just front door covers, or all doors? Any suggestions and info is appreciated, and best place to get them. Thanks!

I just picked up a '21 Pro that had port installed guards. Only two, about half the length of the front doors.

Ok, that’s gotta be the 2 pc set. But why the hell would you only have a set of 2 for a 4 door? My Tacoma and Tundras came with all 4.

My guess is because the first thing that would hit on the rear doors is the fender flare, not the door edge. I didn't order these, they were part of the factory/port delivery to the dealer. So not sure if there was a way to specify 2 or 4 doors

That does make total sense after going out and looking at the doors. It defeats the purpose of putting a guard above the flare. Thanks a lot for making that point!!

Thanks for clarifying- now makes sense that the part# is for the front doors only.

I'm sorry. Why door edge guards? Do you just fling yer doors open? They're not gonna protect yas from the moron that parks next to ya. That said, the "North West Protection" package, which was on mine when I got it, had the same "invisible" material that is on the hood on the door edges and everything facing forward, well almost everything. I wish they would have put it on the rear flares. LOL!

I like to have them on- I’ve received dings and chips right on the edge before from me or possibly a family member inadvertently opening the door and hitting something- not another car, but a cement wall, parking garage pillar, Dunkin’ drive thru speaker, you name it. Just a little piece of mind...

Hah! The ex once flung the door of my '84 Supra into a concrete block retaining wall and hit a sharp corner just above the bottom of the door. Fortunately it was in a area that had textured, anti-gravel coating. That said, I did on one occasion scuff the edge of my Gen 3 on a wall whilst tryin' to get my fat ass out in a tight parking place. Hey, let's face it, shit happens.

That said, when I pulled the old funky, plastic, chrome ones off of my '66 Mustang, I almost put them back on. LOL!
