What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Where did you install the front camera?

 

I have that and worth it

 

As questioned before, did yours also come with a TPMS wire that is unused?
Also, is the range really a mile? When @ the office my wife maybe a 1/4 mile plus walls away.

I used it to pick trash left by losers in bulldog canyon.

 

OEM Audio plus system. leap years ahead of stock system. Better than the JBL in the 20+ pro but there's a reason it's under $2k.
Don't get me wrong as it sounds very good but guessing the reviews never had a good system to compare...my rig before 4runner the speakers were 1k each so I was spoiled but the sound was amazing. This system I rate excellent but not amazing. Probably save some more and buy a decent system one day

12.5 yr old boxer mix she was my ptsd companion helped me find my humanity again for that I will ALWAYS be grateful.

I didn't use the TPMS wire. Not sure about the range. Farthest I used it is about 600 ft. It will shut down if you down get into it in 5 minutes. If your wife can walk the 1/4 mile in 5 minutes she will be fine and if the signal can go through the building walls ie; concrete, masonry, drywall, etc... and any other electronic interference.

 

I thought it was a 15 minute run time. How is it supposed to warm up in 5 minutes?

I'm so sorry, losing a pet is very hard. 17 1/2 years! You certainly treated him well, that's a long life for a kitty.

 

Forgot to mention when changing the speakers. 4runner door panel is very easy to remove. Not alot of video showing putting it back together and found out why. Gotta be the hardest panel ever out back on! Anybody got it nailed? For me it was dumb luck they popped back in

 

Lineup the tabs at the top first them lay panel down over the retention tab holes and pop them in...its incredible stubborn up toward the window tabs but after a few removals you'll get the hang of it. I almost said the HELL with it the first few times (though of running without panel)

Thanks, the drivers door had a wire harness clipped in the way of raising the top up over the edge and the back doors the two alignment pins snapped off. I'm guessing it's just something that has to be learned and no book or video can teach it!

 

Sorry I thought it was 5 minutes. Been awhile since I had it and haven't looked at the instructions or specs. However it is super easy to install and program

Now that is the roof rack that should come with the 4 runners.

 

We used ours to charge our phones this morning.
All because of some mutha fucking jack hole/s using a chainsaw at 1:30 AM to cut down, for whatever reason, 3 power poles that were a few miles from us.
We got our power back on about 2 hours ago.
We feel so sorry to the kids that couldn’t wake up their Dad to open their presents because they had to go to work to repair the lines.
And to all the other households that woke up in the dark.

When they get caught, there will be no punishment good enough for them.

I’m still pissed but, it’s nice to see the neighborhood kids playing with their new snow toys.

if your going to get it, don't use alcohol come with to clean off your hood, it almost strips my clear code away. Just wash your car and install it.

I have both, personally prefer iDrive 10x more than Pedal Commander. iDrive (IMHO) is more responsive...and less expensive.
Once installed the iDrive is a much cleaner look as well. Pedal Commander was much bulkier to me.
