    I highly doubt it.

Agreed. The Toyota rock sliders would be in the same space as the Limited rocker panel. See post #10.

well this is what service/parts said, he said it will fit the 2021 nightshade, I asked about the body differences and he specifically said the 2021s are ok.

So if you buy it from service/parts, are they going to let you return it if they're wrong?

If the rocker panel on a NS is the same as a Limited, and the rock rails are designed for an Off Road or SR5, it's beyond me how they could fit, but hey...

Unless Toyota offers a Limited/Nightshade version of their rock rails.

Certainly wouldn’t be the first time the parts department was wrong.

I know its been a few months... but you can change most of those settings in the head unit at no cost... Including unlock all doors... turn off that dastardly chirp when you lock/unlock, and even turn off the seatbelt chime.

From my research, removing the auto running boards and installing sliders will necessitate installing or modifying new rockers. Any other input concerning the AUTO running boards on a Limited 5th gen?

Are you planning to change front bumper as well? That would be your first point of trail damage.

I was doing some offroad and front corners were pretty low which I almost scratched on rocks. I still have automatic running boards and the clearance was not too bad. I have 2.5 front + 1.5 rear lift with 285/70R17s.

Just wanted to remind you about the front before you think to remove automatic running boards & modify side panels.

Thank you for your insight, yes, I had been thinking about it. I will be removing the front bumper at some point, and will take that into consideration. I also will be removing the xreas, and installing a moderate lift. I appreciate your input. I've already marked up the front bumper so I'm not really too concerned about it at this point.

I was curious if you had removed the auto running boards and swapped with stationary? Also, if you had deleted the XREAS? I am looking to do both on my 2014 Limited.

I tried doing this on my 18 limited and it does not open all of them. :(

The sluggishness issue is now officially resolved! I added a Sprint Boost and that's all it needed. I like the "Sport 7" setting because it turns the 4Runner into what I expected it to be like from the factory. Of course, the 4Runner is not intended to perform like a sports car, but I do have to have to merge into traffic safely. Prior to installing the Sprint Boost that just wasn't happening...at least with a sufficient degree of confidence and comfort for me. Now, not an issue.
