My sons 07 is sitting a little low in the rear, I’m betting the coil springs are shot being that it has 170k on it. What is the consensus on replacements? Not looking for a lift just want to get back to stock height.
I’ve read moogs were pretty good but others are saying that they don’t seat correctly.

I also saw lots of forum reviews (here and elsewhere) where people talked about the moogs not seating correctly. They’re definitely different, as you can clearly see in photos. They obviously work, with some finessing, otherwise they wouldn’t still be selling them.

In the end, we went with OEM replacements from the dealer and they’re just fine. Netted us about an inch over the tired and worn out originals.

Are you replacing the fronts too?

You should be able to use 5th Gen stock coils. Should be able to pick up a cheap set on here or your local Craigslist.

I read on here that 5th gen rear coils would actually leave the rear lower than stock.

These are out of my 2017 SR5 just for comparing.

Installed 5th gen stock rear coils and shocks yesterday. Easy install and gained about an inch of lift. Ride quality is much improved.
