    Greetings,

Working on a project for my 80 series LC. The factory airbox is, well... less than ideal. Custom boxes are sold by companies like Moonlight fabrication, but I have no desire to pay $800 for an aluminum airbox. The stock 5th gen airbox looks a lot like what I am after, easy to obtain filter, split in the middle to grant easy access with 4 clips, wheel well intake, crazy bends or restrictions...

Does anyone know or would be able to measure the diameter of the 5th gen intake tube? Mainly wondering how much of a PITA it will be to hook it up to the CT26 turbo via a silicone tube.

    Thanks.

    V/r,
    Clay

You want the diameter of the tube from the airbox to the butterfly?

Just went and measured it 4" is your answer for the fender > airbox and 4" is also airbox > intake.
