I reached out to the shop and the owner is going to contact the supplier to see if they have any more details. He mentioned he can match the ID on the new sensors to the old sensors and if that fails he can swap them out for OEM ones.

So weird, a few days ago my after market TPMS started working after running through the dash setup procedure. At first I though it was because I was parking in the garage near my summer tires but this weekend we were away and they were still working. So it looks like the ones my local shop put in do work now. How they know which tire is which I have no idea but they are reading all tires without issue.

The only thing I can say is be patient if you have a 2020 and are using the steps in the manual. It took over 40 min for my car to recognize the new set of aftermarket tpms on my snow tires. I didn't think it was going to work and suddenly it found all 4... so maybe put it in register mode. while it is doing it I did change my screen to the view that shows the 4 tire pressure readouts and all where "--" for the 40 min ... then the magic happened and they came to life and have been fine for the past 2 weeks.

I agree, it seems patience is key and it should work. At least it did for me.

@jvinhj240 I've been to three different tire shops and none of them can read my Denso 550-0105 TPMS Sensor that I bought from Amazon. Do you have any suggestions?

If you're close to N ID I could try and read them with my Bartec tool since your car is a 2017. The software update for my Bartec is up to 2018. I quit updating since Bartec charges a few hundred dollars for the updates. I bought an Autel tool recently for my 2022 OR since it was cheaper than paying for a Bartec update. The Autel might be able to read your sensors but it won't be able to program non Autel sensors.

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I’m not close by. In the DC area.

thanks for the info on the Autel. I was wondering if I read that correctly on their website.
