    Work in progress!
Did the water pump on my dad's 94 Dodge Dakota 3.9L. Pretty much the only thing I did today that's worth mentioning.

Painted my LED lights on the dash cam. They randomly would turn on if the camera thought it was dark. I am not sure why because it only added glare off the windshield. So this worked well.

The only thing I don't like about AWD in the rain is it burns more gas @ 70-80 mph and feels like I'm lugging the engine more. Between AWD and these Duratracs though, I do enjoy tearing past the people going 50 because they're scared of the rain.

Believe me it's worse when you have people that haven't had any significant rainfall in the last 3 years. People forget how to drive in it.

I still cruised 70 today. Had to pass a bunch of idiots going 60 and below. It wasn't pouring just wet.

I'm just glad the pre filter I put over my intake tube is working. Bet that thing would be flooded with water within minutes.

I went to pass a limo earlier in the bay bridge tunnel and hydroplaned immediately after :anonymous:

So far I haven't really seen much flooding. I'm sure my intake tube has had some water all in it after yesterday's driving.

Road was wet this morning but we're supposed to be getting a break today and tomorrow. One thing that has been nice, is lack of traffic in the morning on my commute. Not sure if people are just leaving earlier, or everyone is still on vacation this week. It's been nice despite all the idiots driving 50mph with their wipers on full blast in light rain.

You've got those nifty trash can shields setup in there don't you?

Weirdly enough my commutes out into the city are shockingly fast and painless when it rains. I guess none of the tourists are hogging up the freeway and bridge. How about the ones that still have their wipers on high when the rain stopped 20 minutes earlier? Very attentive drivers we have on the roads these days...

Don't ever try driving in SF then. Easily the most frustrating thing in the world.
