Hi all i am Jerry i have a new 2016 4runner trail ( KDSS ) looking for mods info . I also have a 2014 Tundra 4x4 crewman with a 3" lift and 285/75/18. Love off roading both but need some mods for the new 4runner . I have been off roading for over 20years all over Ca. to Mexico. Looking to get to know some people that can help figure out some mods and share stories .

The Mud Caves are out off the S2 or S22 just between Ocotillo and Ocotillo Wells in Anzo Berego Desert . It is about 1:15 from my house . It is just a fun play ground of wash areas and then some side shuts . Nothing hard at all I have seen cars back there . If it is not raining we are planning on heading out there Sat. morning . My wife and two dogs and i will be leaving my house at 8:00am . Stop just before the grade on the 8east for food and gas then head in . Let me know what you think . It will be a full day so we bring drinks and lunch for us and enjoy playing .

Okay we just got back from my first run in the 2016 TE and boy was it fun . We did not do the mud caves because of the winds 40+MH crazy. We did do coyote canyon . The rock garden was nothing for this thing . You need to get out there . We will try to hook up another time . Yes i am trying to set up to be at the TacomaWorld event Jan9-10. The runner is getting lifted and new shoes on the 5-6 .Talk later

Anza's on my bucket list. You probably won't get much interest in Jan 9-10, I think Superstition is that weekend.

So i take it your in San Diego. Have you been hitting any trails around? We have been exploring the trails around here more and more but hate to go alone. Maybe try to get a group together for a run soon. Not to crazy but not just a fire road. What ya think

That was exactly what I was thinking. I do go wheel, but usually alone. I would love to set something up.

Great to see it will be used.Did you use the bolts that came with it or did you buy some nylon lock nuts instead? What's next for the runner?
