I have a 2020 ORP and I am about to have my lift kit installed. I have Toytec front and rear springs, SPC UCAs, Bilstein 5100s for front and rear and the differential drop kit. There will also be the mounting & balancing of the tires and the alignment.

I am curious about the total that I can expect to pay for all of the labor. I am going to have it done at a Toyota dealer and I am very comfortable with the quality of their work as they have worked on my other vehicles for years.

Thanks for any information that can be provided.

The dealer is going to bend you over. I paid **** for a BMC, front coilovers, Spc UCA, rear shocks and springs. Rear lower control arms and a panhard bar. This price also included alignment and mount and balance of 5 tires.

I do not have rear lower control arms or a panhard bar to replace. I do not know yet if I will need a BMC but everything else is the same. I was quoted $1050 so I guess that’s not too bad.

I would guesstimate that stuff could be done in 8 hours by someone who knows what they're doing.

I don't know what your dealers hourly rate is, but at $100/hour, that would be 10.5 hours worth of work.

Doesn't seem like they're too far off to me.

Normally, I would be of the same opinion regarding the dealer but I used to work for the dealer where I am going to have this done and I know which technician will do the work and the quality of his work is impeccable. Out of the 30 or so technicians in this shop, there are only 2 that I would let anywhere near my vehicle. They did the lift kit and the supercharger on my Tacoma and the supercharger has been flawless for almost 9 years and 140k miles.

I just tackled this project. With kdss it kicked my ass. I'm not a good mechanic and I'm just learning as I go. I'm not working due to covid and I have no income so harder for me to pay a mechanic for labor. So far 2 days and a few trips to the parts store to rent tools, and I'm almost done. Install videos claim the job is done in 4 hours, I'm almost more than 12 hours in and maybe another few hours to finish and button up everything.

Hardest part is reinstalling the kdss sway bar and removing any seized uca and tie rod end studs.

I didn't do bmc and spc uca yet.

I paid $275 for UCA’s, diff drop, and my full suspension lift, and an alignment.

Plus another $200 for a BMC.

Mine also has KDSS. That is another reason I really do not want to do it. I’m not a novice when it comes to working on my own vehicles but I am far from an expert. In my situation, it works better for me to have it done and I will sleep better knowing that it is done right.

If I'm working, I would definitely use a professional. Less of a headache and pain and tear on your body.

I would call around Toyota based shops and private mechanics to get an estimate instead of a dealership. They know what their doing and my guess they are licensed Toyota Mechanics. I have a friend who's a professional mechanic for Audi and operates his own shop, and he's a certified Audi/VW/Porsche technician.

I had a local shop do my suspension lift which was Dobinsons 2.5" Front/2.0" Rear with SPC UCAs and an alignment. No diff drop or BMC and it was $400 after all was said and done.

Cost can vary according to your area. Best to price it within your community and see how they compare. In round terms, I’m guessing close to $1000.

Not sure where you are. Around LA it's $600-800 for full suspension and UCA's.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Had my Eibach Pro Truck Lift (springs & shocks) installed for $450 last year.
That included an alignment at a separate shop across the street. Used:
    http://www.bkstrucks.com/ in Springfield, MO.

Looking at ordering SPC UCA's and a set of larger tires from the same shop.

I'm from LA. I did got a quote at around $800 for suspension, uca and bmc, but no alignment a few months ago.

Tire mount and balance should be $15 to $25 a tire. Make sure you have tpms sensors ready when installing new tires or they'll charge you the same labor to remove your oem tpms to go to the new wheels.
