What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I hate my Pro rack too. Im thinking of finding someone to trade out. I like the last style better.

 

You can see mine above. I removed Pro rack no use for it. Sold it. And now just removed the black roof rails I had on. No need for them. I like the smooth top better. I don’t use the roof for anything. But I am holding onto the black rails Incase I would decide to add them back on.

 

sell it for $350 and get a real rack

 

Pre winter tire/ rim prep. Power wash, tire foam cleaner, 303 on the rubber. Rims were ceramic coated new so topped it off with spray ceramic.

Looks awesome! Love the bronze wheels. I’m partial but the army green in the sunlight is the best color ever in my opinion. In person it’s an awesome color in the sun! Looks great man! Nice job

I don't mind the skewp on my 4Runner. When I had my Taco, i traded for a non-skewped hood because of the glare.

Thanks dude!! Yeah I’m loving it. Been working on my next project today. I will finish it up tomorrow. Added my Bajadesigns 20 led light bar. Next will be amber fog lights to match.

 

Went to discount tires and had them put on my wheels and tires. Thought I might wait it out and let my stock tires wear down a bit, but the wheels and tires have been sitting in the garage since the sale of my 2017 SR5.

And also did the last chrome delete by putting in black sequential side mirror turn signals.

 

Big project! ha ha Crawled underneath and gave the U-joints and slip shafts a few squirts of grease. even though we have only 2000 miles on it, what can it hurt? Now I have peace of mind and the dealership doesn't have to do it on it's first service..... you can rely on the dealerships, right?

 

All I can see is super bright green shorts

 

I have them also. They are 17x8 with 4.5" back spacing and 0 offset. They are the best possible fit with the least chance of rubbing. They are not as aggressive as other spec wheels but it's worth the trade off not to have to hack up a body mount when running larger tires.

 

SR5 wheels and Pro wheels are 7” wide. TRD OR wheels are 7.5” wide. The FX Pro wheel is 8” wide and will stick out flush ish with the fender.

 

Finished up my Bajadesigns Led light bar today.

 

Fluid filmed before the salt season starts. Lubed u joint and slip shaft while I was under there.

 

Installed the End Page LED front turn signal bulbs with built in load resistors.

Installed the “TRD Off Road” and “4RUNNER” emblem overlays from TVDVinyl. I’m not sure if I like them or not.

 

Wow that looks good......Have to wait and see how they hold up to the sun?

 

I have the same tire, wildpeak at3 in the 275/70/17 and bilstein 5100 set at 1.75 (3rd clip) and I had to trim some mud flap cause I was getting some rub. That’s after putting on the SPC uca and caster set at around 4.0.

 

Forgot to mention I have the TRD pro wheels as well.
