Anyone have any suggestions on removing paint splatter ? Not sure how longs it’s been on there. No big deal and could touch up paint over it since it’s on the plastic piece right above the tire.

If it's on the paint alittle liquid clay and a paper towel will rub it right out. Not enough? a decent DA polisher and start with mild compound before going rougher. Don't wanna try yourself? find a detail shop that does nice rides. Since that would take 5 minutes or less, 20 bucks.
If it's fresh paint try rubbing alcohol

Ok good deal. Thanks. Yea it’s not fresh so that’s why I was worried it won’t come off. I figured since it had dried I was out of luck.

Stoners Tarminator might be worth a shot. Might it be tar or are you sure it’s paint?

That’s a good question. I think it’s paint because it felt hard and dried. But I was going to try tar remover tomorrow. I tried chemical guys wet butter wax but it only took off a little where it was very light.

Magic eraser could dull the clear coat. I bet it’s tar. Should wipe right off with Tarminator.

either way, you’re going to have to take corrective measures on the paint after you remove it if you’re anal like me

If it is paint do you know what kind of paint it is? I would think that would help you plan this out.

A trick I would try is taping the edges of a paper towel over the area and then saturate the paper towel with Goo Gone or non diluted Simple Green. Let it set for 20-30 minutes remove it and then buff the area with a microfiber towel.

Well clay bar for the win! Took about 30 mins but it came off. May have scuffed the clear coat a little but it’s not bad and I think over time I can fix that. Looks almost perfect after I waxed it really good so maybe couple more times will fix it completely.
