Last Minute Change from Grey to Blue but it is finally home - 2020 TRD OR Premium

Thought I was set on on a Grey ORPrem but while I was waiting for it to arrive I found a Blue with the TRD Skid plate, Black out letters, Moon Roof, Rails and running boards and LED fogs. I love it but already dreaming of my mods.

Followed the advice of others and ordered the center consol tray. I am on the hunt for rims to use for Blizzaks for the winter. Not sure how others feel but I am not a huge fan of the stock running boards. I'll have to wait a bit but I plan on swapping them out at some point. I also ordered the canvasback covers for the hatch area and back of the seats.

Heading for my first beach fishing a two weeks so I'll have to think about some pole mods. I have my old ones for the roof rack (old ski rack front and tubes for the back) but I want to try something inside the car. (what pressure do you guys run on the stock tires?)

The forum was helpful in my shopping and I hope I did OK at 5.6% under list before the $1000 back that Toyota offered.

 

Nice, jrsuss! I have an MGM ORP, and to be truthful I like blue better, haha, but I’m pretty agnostic about colour. I’ve never had the luxury of a choice. I bought mine at a year end clearance sale and it was too good a deal to worry about colour. I’m with you on running boards. I had the dealer take them off before I took it home. Later, I gave them away. They make your pants dirty in the winter and they look kind of feeble, imho. That’s the nice thing about individual choice, you don’t have to march to the same drum as everyone else. If you’re a 5’ tall female, a running board might be a necessity.

 

My wife is a 5' tall female, so I'll have to get the Nerf bars or something to replace the boards for her (it has been funny watching her try to get even with them). I'll deal with it through the winter then look to do some spring upgrades.

 

Love that color. Looks like we went to the same dealership, I bought mine end of May. I think you got a good deal. But they wouldn’t work with me to swap out the bridgestone duelers or install running boards. I think they weren’t happy that I didn’t finance with Toyota. And Absolutely no follow up after the sale, not even a thank you. Good luck w/ your new rig.

 

Actually got it in Kingston, NY ... it had the TRD Plate,boards and black lettering already ordered .. i took it as is. I didn't even think to ask about swapping out the tires. .. Future add on.

 

Yeah, Kingston refused to work with me, even just to give me a Credit for the Duelers if I purchased a new set of tires from them. Anyway, it Worked out better that I upgraded them myself. Sold the Duelers.
